Thanks, that is pretty cool. You have done a lot of work on your Elvis.

Quoted from fast1981:I had one special made about 2 years ago. I went thru http://www.arcadeupkeep.com/ The person who built it was Brandon Hartman. The cost for mine was $125. Hope that helps.
Brandon was great. Jumped on this myself. Did you get the flashers with yours, as well. It is an option. Sounds like the flashers go off in addition to Elvis on the surrounding pictures in sync with the flashers on the table.

I did. I also got some under cabinet lights that work off the flashers....they were an extra $25 at the time. Thanks
So would you do it again or is it too much going on in the backglass?
Do you know if you can disconnect them if I order and don't like or do you recall if it is all tied together?
How much did yours differ from one in video?
I'm planning to order.
Thanks!
And everyone, if you haven't ordered the TV mod from Sparky, it's amazing and you'll be really happy with all that little box displays.
First mod in my opinion. Just amazing.

I really like it and would buy again. It installed in about 10 minutes using existing mounting points. The power comes from an existing plug in the front of the game on the right side. The installation is completely reversible. There are 6 different light/letter "patterns" that you can choose (it only plays one over and over). I didn't watch the attached video so I'm not sure if they are the same or not....sorry.
Just added a new Pinsound orchestration to the Pinsound Community. I call it the Rockabilly Mix. Started with Andy_B's orchestration and added a few new songs and replaced the live tracks with original. Also deleted some of the slower songs to give it a more upbeat feel. New songs include: Shake, Rattle and Roll, Mystery Train, Good Rockin' Tonight, That's All Right, I Got a Woman.
Likely take a few days to be approved. Here is the link. Hope you enjoy it

Think it has been approved now, if someone can confirm they got it to download ok. Thanks for the help!
I also added a bunch of songs at the beginning of the game instead of See See Rider as I think its nice to have different songs at the start.
Happy Holidays Elvis owners (w Pinsound)!
Elvis did a lot of Christmas songs in his time. Listen to all of his classic Christmas songs while playing your favourite pinball machine! Songs include:
- Blue Christmas, Here Comes Santa Claus, I'll be home on Christmas Day, Santa Bring my Baby Back to Me, If I Get Home on Christmas Day, Merry Christmas Baby, Blue Christmas, Winter Wonderland, White Christmas, The First Noel, O Come All Ye Faithful, Santa Claus is Back in Town, plus many more.
Thought this would be a fun experience on Christmas day when spending it with the family.

I installed a Cointaker shaker motor. It works pretty well but When it shakes on high, it literally rattles the Elvis pin. I have one installed in my Aerosmith and it is smooth shaking. There is nothing loose in the cab and I even removed the coin box. I have another super strong shaker in my star trek and it too is smooth.
Wondering if there is something wrong with it or if it can be adjusted? It is smooth on periodical shaking, but when it's hits high on "all shook up" and it sounds like a Harley rattling like crazy. So bad, it's not worth having in pin.
I emailed Melissa at Cointaker and she didn't think Elvis has a code for a shaker or thinks it needs a chip? As you owners know, Elvis comes wired and labeled for a shaker.
Any ideas or help?
Thanks all.
I have a side blade question. pinballjah (or others) it appears you added tilt side blades recently to your machine. How did you handle the hinge area for the backbox? My game (without side blades) has a round black sticker that hides the hinge bolt/nut. Would you recommend installing the side blades over the round sticker or would you recommend removing it prior to installing the side blades? I'm leaning toward going over the top of the black sticker because it is much more rigid than the side blade. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

I only did the decal on the front speaker panel. On my game, the sideblade decals are over top of the hinge bolt. The sticker wasn't removed. I would recommended the method with the soapy water. There is a video on Youtube. This makes it a lot easier to move around and it didn't seem to impact the stickiness of the decal. Good luck! They look great when installed.
Anyone install the guitar mod from Cointaker? Just wonder where you put it on the playfield. Thought it would have come with a plastic piece to screw it into place, but no such luck.
Quoted from pinballjah:Talk about dirty, when I first checked out the game, I thought this was a black rubber. It is actually white!
Yeah, Elvis seems to get little dirt....

Novus 2
Quoted from Flippermatt:Alternate translite for Elvis anyone?
Pretty hard to find any mods for Elvis. I would love an Elvis Topper. Must be major copyright issues to use his name.
Quoted from pinballjah:New Elvis topper I came up with.

Are those the McFarlane toys?
Quoted from Charlemagne1987:Are those the McFarlane toys?
Yes, they are actually a lot nicer than I expected. The sign I got on Amazon.

Very cool. I have all 6 of the McFarlane Elvis figures but never took them out of the packaging.
Is this the standard Elvis lockdown bar? Any idea what the hole is used for? Not sure if can be used for a ball lanch? Also, the lockdown inner posts seem to be both on the right side, not like other Stern games where they are centered on both sides. Thanks.

Looks like it is the tournament button
Quoted from Stonecoldreece:They still make this?
If you are referring to this machine no. Long out of production.

I like the red powder. I have gold/brass on mine. I have this same lockdown bar on my Playboy machine. I am updating to a later Stern brass bar and need to replace the receiver.

Yes, I just left it as is with the tournament button. Will replace the tournament decal with something at some point. "Press to Rock with the King" or something to that effect.
For those with Pinsound, now is a great time of year to try out the Elvis Christmas orchestration I did. Hope you enjoy it! Great way to enjoy the holidays listening to Elvis's greatest Christmas hits.

Where can you get the Vegas sign that lights up? Looks awesome in the game!
Thank you in advance
FOUND IT!
Quoted from Flippingr8:I just added Tilt Graphics side blade, flipper, and speaker panel decals to my Elvis Gold - here is the result. Very pleased. Pondering getting a color DMD and possibly a Pinsound at some point. Of course a topper would be nice too.

I'm starting to work on a custom Elvis topper. Plan to use this image in the background on clear plexiglass.
