Initial thought: sparse

Been staring at all the photos for a while, maybe it's not as bad as we think? me and my wife loved jetsons growing up, and that artwork is incredible. Could it use some toys to dress it up in the back? definitely, but that's easy to add later. I wish this were a $5200 game like dominoes, but spooky isn't controlling pricing, the pinball company is.

Quoted from GLSP3022:

I was thinking it has a vague resemblance to DE LW3. Cool artwork!

Now I can't un-see it

lanes and pop bumper same exact location, left ramp entrance same location (but squiggles instead of loops back and forth). Drop targets same locations but are replaced by stationary targets. Spinners on both side of orbit shots same.

Shooter lanes are different
LW3 has a VUK going into a left return ramp.

With all that said, I owned LW3 and actually did enjoy the simplicity, but I was also slightly nostalgic for that title playing it in the arcade.

And Pokemon...

yea, but how many pokemon fans are in Japan? Not like they have space for a pinball in their tiny apartments.

Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

Just so people understand, this game was not Charlie's idea. It was Nic's. Nic is the one who came to Charlie

I don't think a single person is upset at charlie, he's a saint. I would assume everyone understands who is driving this project.

Quoted from Whysnow:

Spooky can now do LARGE vac formed ramps!

I already know that from facebook, and yes it's VERY awesome

Quoted from jar155:

you can be pretty sure it's going to outpace a Stern machine in regards to quality

yea nevermind all the playfield issues, let's look at how many $15k batman 66 are having issues now. node boards frying still, turntables with weld cracks, wires not pulled back so the turntable yanked on them until it snapped off wires or optos.

I don't know what Stern's quality program is, but I know when spooky was building AMH they had a page long checklist that took them a good hour to go through before they let a pin walk out their door.

Elvira 3 is not coming from Spooky.

But it is coming.. right?

Quoted from mof:

Some historical firsts from those two pins:
* 2 spinners on orbits that flow in both directions (no stop pins to block travel)

lethal weapon had a spinner on each direction of orbit

Unlike a stern who has to pay a ton of people, and heat and air condition a 100k sq ft building, and pay cook county taxes on said property, Charlie still has far less overhead on his new buildings and extended workforce. Would he hurt if he doesn't sell all 500 Alice coopers? Perhaps a little, but im sure he'd be just fine.. start building the next game, and then the next game.

I had high hopes for this pin.. theme was right, art was right, layout just didn't do much for me.
