I love me some hot sauce!
    Here's my current top four.
    What's your favorite hot sauce?

Ha! I just put red hot on everything. Love that shit....

    #3 4 years ago

Prefer the hot sauce from Gators Dockside. It’s really good!

    #4 4 years ago

Nice arsenal of sauce there. I love hot sauce, I will try and post a pic when I get a minute. I am always looking for something new. If I know someone is traveling to another state or country I always ask them to bring me something back if they see anything.

Go through a large bottle of Texas Pete a Month.

    #6 4 years ago

Use this on my boat . Highly recommend

Your fridge looks like ours, hot sauce takes up half the space. Our favorite came from Floridas Seafood Bar and Grill in Cocoa Beach, their own concoction. I love the Truffle hot sauce as well but it's not worth the price.

    #8 4 years ago

Ardvark and ancho/Mortia didn’t last long in my fridge, not much heat but both were delicious!

A few of our go to sauces.

I use El Yucateco on pretty much everything mexican. Go through a lot of that.

Like Franks and Crystals on other stuff (popcorn, eggs for example)

I really like Hot Ones main sauce.

    #11 4 years ago

For wings.. just plain Frank's red hot sauce.

    How are these for heat?
Aardvark habanero is what I'm comfortable with.

    #13 4 years ago

Melinda's scorpion pepper sauce used to be my favorite, but they recently changed the recipe. Why??

Oddly, Dawson’s can be tough....to enjoy. The others aren’t scorchers, similar to ardvark in heat. The torchbearer reaper is tasty and not that hot surprisingly.

    #15 4 years ago

These are fun sweet and spicy flavor.
Great on a turkey sandwich or baked potato.

I have been on a hot sauce kick recently after binge watching Hot Ones. The hotter the better. I've been enjoying Bravado Spice's Crimson sauce as my standard go to. Their Crimson Reserve with the Scorpion has a nice kick when I want a notch higher.

I have Da Bomb coming in on Friday, let's see how that tastes.

    #17 4 years ago

valentina hot sauce has been my regular for a while now. I do like trying all different kinds though.

    #18 4 years ago

Give us a review on da bomb sauce, like to know if it's as bad as the celebs say. Colbert eating that was pretty good.

    #19 4 years ago

Huge hot sauce aficionado here. My current favorite is Big fats 708. Its amazing. Their 608 and 708 primo are also great. The 608 is perfect if you can't take the higher heat on the 708.

The Bunsters shit the bed line is really good too if you need something different. Its almost like a finely chopped salsa.

A big letdown for me is Secret Aardvark. I kept hearing so many people talk it up and I've picked up bottles a few times now. Its meh at best

Vinegary BS like Tabasco and texas pete shouldn't even count as hot sauce. My favorite brand thats commonly found in stores is El Yucateco, especially the Caribbean one

Da bomb is gross. It tastes bad and it messes with your guts. These days I steer clear from extract based hot sauces. They always have a weird flavor and tend to never treat you right.

I don't usually go this wild anymore, just pick up my go to's and maybe 1 or 2 new sauces to try, but here's my selections when i was really getting wild for a bit

Man I love hot sauce, always add the Caribbean ones to my baked beans etc
My sons girlfriend bought this and said anyone who would eat a teaspoon of it would get £100!
My youngest said he would do it, TBC.

I can't wait to try them out!

I love Crystal on fried seafood, Franks Red Hot for chicken and pork (especially wings), Tabasco on eggs, Sriracha for soups like Pho, and Valentina for Mexican food. I don’t really go for the super hot ones as you can tell.

    #35 4 years ago

My hot sauce testing grounds are these cheap bean burritos.
I can get my hot sauce fix and a full stomach for around a $1

Here are my favorites, in decending order. Missing is Tabasco Chipotle. Franks Extra on my pizza, Tabasco Green on eggs when I'm feeling mild. The Scorpion Sauce, I used to win a Chili competition (20 drops in a whole pot)

I ordered a variety 4 pack of El Yucateco and some Secret Aardvark. The El Yucateco is alright, I thought the green was the best. The Secret Aardvark might be my new favorite.

Any love for Prik Nam Pla?

I think it goes excellent with everything except perhaps porridge.

I always recommend steering clear of novelty hot sauces. They are funny and a cool little gift, but they never are a quality sauce. Usually just vinegar and some crappy spice or maybe even extract. None of them are formulated to taste good and also be hot.

Yeah, Cholula is always a given over here. Its damned expensive in Norway though, about 6 USD for one of those small bottles. However, due to its vinegary taste its not everything it goes well with. But its very good in dishes with alot of onions in. "Balancing" is key, I think.

    Or something.

Ok hot sauce enthusiast....I could use some of your expertise and help.

My father loves hot sauce...the hotter the better. But no matter what sauce I give him it's not hot enough for him. Over the last ten years I'd give him a bottle as a gift. But it's never hot enough.

So what is the most insane hot sauce there is?

I see you got the "Devil Drops" I usually put some drops on scrambled eggs along with ketchup. Provides a nice heat.
