Not the movie, although that'd make a great pin.....

No, what pin or pin part is your Grail? What game/part do you seeketh and how long have you seeked? I know some EM guys have searched for BGs or PFs for 10 years or better. What sayeth you?

For me, it's Mystery Castle, over a year now. Have never even played the game, only seen the videos, but since gravitating towards horror themed pins have always wanted one. I suppose if I ever land one, Mephisto will be the next Grail.

Maybe, just maybe if enough people respond and enough people read, someone's grail cup will be filled

PS....5K MM's or 2K BBB's don't count. Has to be something that IF found, you'd make the sacrifice within reason to obtain.

#2 11 years ago

MB about 3 years. Just have not found the right condition and price. Maybe Ill just wait and get Avengers LE and forget about it or maybe avengers then come back for it.

Good luck on Mystery Castle I like it much better than mephisto.

Bally Big FOOT

#4 11 years ago

I've found a few of mine in the last year: Hercules, Varkon, Joust, Skill Roll, getting an XR-7 Banzai Run back. Been a good 12 months or so!

Right now, a nice Orbitor 1

#5 11 years ago

I have Bronze Grails I guess, I haven't found a pinball machine that I HAVE to have.
But there are ones I would like to own.
Those being, at the moment:

Class of 1812
Waterworld
Rollercoaster Tycoon
Monopoly

#7 11 years ago

I've been fortunate to find most of my grail pins. LOTR is the only one left and then I'm retiring
Have been having a difficult time finding one within reasonable driving distance.

Quoted from robertmee:

I am actually going to see and play my first Mystery Castle in a couple of weeks at a local Pinsider's place. Very excited!

TSPP & LOTR are tied as my holy grail.

It took me 7 years to be in a position to buy both (in HUO QC condition).

Oddly enough I scored both within 48 hours of each other.

Life is good

#9 11 years ago

IJ '93. Just no where to be found in these parts. Going on 3.5 years looking for perfect combo of condition, price and distance. One day, my friend, one day.

#10 11 years ago

Mine is a Rollergames with 8 drop targets.

I imported it from Germany a few years ago for a princely sum.

Same here Mike. But for many years it was the Charlies Angels EM. version.

Bally 4 Queens. Took me 18 years to find one. Drove from Detroit to Springfield, MA in late Autumn to get it. Now current grail is a Bally Bounty bingo pin.

#13 11 years ago

Beat it? Looks like I'm in for a long wait
Has anyone actually ever seen Valinor? LOL!

Still, best deal I've been offered so far. Thanks!

Great pin....I know a guy near me that has all four...BK, Jungle Lord, Pharaoh and Solar Fire lined up in a row. There's also a Pharaoh for sale near me on Craigslist....I guess they're more common here in the states.

but hey will never know what can come up or i can find!

#27 11 years ago

Star Gazer is definitely my holy grail, and thanks to a good friend, I'll be getting a restored one. Normally I'd say "I can't wait," but I can totally wait. It's worth it.

He sure did! I saw it at his Pinball Expo booth a few years ago!

I think I have seen the picture of that line up

Always black knights an jungle lords for sale, I do not think solar ride was ever imported to Australia

How much do they go for?

#36 11 years ago

- Black Hole (should not be too difficult, but prices are far too high in France and the European version is not as good as the US: no speech, no animated backglass). I have been looking for one for a year. I guess I will eventually try to import one from the US, despite customs and transport.

- Dancing Lady (1966): my favorite EM.

#37 11 years ago

For me it's a tie between:
* 1981 Stern Iron Maiden
* 1980 Gottlieb Asteroid Annie and the Aliens

A pinball machine based on Monty Python's The Holy Grail would be a big hit imho.

#38 11 years ago

This topic kinda makes me wish I was able to pick up that data east desert storm on ebay from 6 months ago

#39 11 years ago

One day my Barracora will come...

#41 11 years ago

Probably a nice Centaur or II

#42 11 years ago

...or a completely beat Centaur for cheap that I can do a dramatic change to and completely modify the physical game play (I have a few ideas).

#43 11 years ago
Quoted from EvanBingham:

Star Gazers sell so infrequently that it's hard to say. Especially now with the availability of re-screened playfields, new backglasses & plastics.

#44 11 years ago

I have a new Holy Grail, but I will never own it. I played a Capcom King Pin not too long ago. It was pretty damn cool! BBB would be another Grail for me.

#45 11 years ago

I have my Grail right now - BiB. I posted in RGP over four years ago that I wanted a pin based on not just ACDC, but in particular Back in Black. The icing on the cake is the Steve Ritchie/Lyman Sheets design. They are my favorite designers for hardware and software.

I can also say that owning it is not a letdown at all. Especially with the new software load, it's the best pin I have ever played bar none.

#46 11 years ago

Medieval Madness for me. Been looking for one for 7 years now.

#47 11 years ago

Probably a pimped out Spidey or I500.

#48 11 years ago

Tron LE was my holy grail pin. I really thought that I would never manage to find one, and that I had missed the chance for ever. I was lucky enough to pick one up last weekend.

#49 11 years ago

AC/DC BIBLE. I could sell all the others & be happy.
