If you decide to get a hobbit (good choice by the way), I would recommend finding a well kept HUO version. It will save you several thousand over NIB, and you can get the Smaug or LE version for the look you want for cabinet and trim color.

You may want to consider a Monster Bash remake. Really nice looking, good for beginners, and even hardcore pinball fans would nod in approval when they saw it.

I do agree that pinsiders should speak their minds, without caring about the downvotes. Differing and candid opinions are why I love reading this damn site.

Play them both before choosing. Though you may very well like potc better. Like vireland said, even if you don’t like potc you will able to sell it with little to no loss. Enjoy whatever you get, having a pinball machine under your own roof rocks!

My family likes it alot too. Just amazing theme integration and mode creativity.
