Looks like we have a rule specific to the upper flipper: "Shoot DWARF drop target with upper flipper to kick over barrel when ball drains right from bumpers" after activating Super Jets (Level 5). Looks like you can get an extra ball after kicking over "X" barrels (might be a variable difficulty setting).

Nodding. That's my thought as well. I pictured a Cactus Canyon sort of thing, but perhaps one that continually moves every 10 seconds or so.
