Quoted from oopsallberrys:switched my pre-order to SE #104.... just got married on 10-4
I like that.
Quoted from bemmett:My worry is I see a lot of people posting throughout time saying they are a "Day One ship", I somehow doubt we all are going to be day one shipments as I'd have to imagine distributor "Day one" orders are 500+.Might take months to get all the early orders out.
I was mid pack in ordering my #661. I was told 100% I would get it by 12-31-15. There is no way. Mid 2016 is my guess. Sucks BIG TIME!!!
Quoted from Goronic:When did you order? I order mine July/2014. Just wondered if you were before or after that...
Quoted from ChrisVon:Yeah, when did you order your Hobbit (order date)? That's what dictates the order of arrival/machines being made, I believe.
I just ordered my LE #680 June 2015....so I know I'm low/last being made at this point, which is fine by me, I know it's going to be worth the wait!!
I'm guessing my wait time is going to be +/- 1 year for arrival, where so many people have been waiting +2 years already. It sucks but what can you do.
Patience is a virtue
May, 2014.
Quoted from SilverBallz:I just heard we should expect big news.
Hope its more than just free t-shirts..
Quoted from RTS:I'd say there is 75% chance that the 50% chance of it being this month is 0%.
Now that's some funny shit.
Quoted from kaneda:Normally I would agree with all of this, but the main problem with The Hobbit are the shots. The shots in WOZ are much more rewarding / interesting than The Hobbit. In WOZ, the ball is always doing interesting things and going to interesting places...two upper playfields, monkey grabbing the ball, tree pop bumpers, shooting at the witch, etc...in the Hobbit, the ball never does anything interesting at all and is stuck on a single field of play. It crawls up the ramp and that's about it. Also, in The Hobbit, every shot can be hit from each flipper. It makes the gameplay a bit repetitive and stale.
Just look at WOZ and look at The Hobbit. WOZ has so much going on and Hobbit is this wide open playfield. I don't get it. I'd pick WOZ any day. Regardless, GOT LE had much more rewarding shots and was much more rewarding to play than The Hobbit. I'm not saying this to piss people off. Just stating how I feel about both.
What's crazy to me is people are defending The Hobbit without even playing it. That's lunacy,
I agree with most things you say except for The Hobbit. It does have a wide open playfield but doesn't Attack from Mars as well? GOT is not fun at all to me. WOZ is fantastic game and very different than TH which is good.
Kaneda, I have played both equally and GOT is like a upgraded Zizzle compared to The Hobbit. I'm sorry The Hobbit will crush Lord of the rings.
Quoted from Rick432:Because time is an unstoppable, steady (in stable gravitational field), unidirectional vector.
You are so right. I just got mine today. Thank you!!!
When people start getting their Hobbits can we not only list the day you get it but "from whom". I want to track the people who got theirs directly from JJP vs Distributors.
Quoted from goldant:We could start a Google doc, pin it somewhere...etc
Good idea... Just trying to see if buying directly is better and faster. I was told no but i want this thread to be proof...
Quoted from KingBW:Likely over $10 million in sales for the Hobbit including backorders ... and counting. That's pretty good.
I'm happy for Jack. Can't wait to get pats game.
