May switch to SE. Waiting until next week to see if they unveil anything new.

Alex - looking for an opinion. Us buyers, not having the benefit of comparing the two powder coats to each other - what looks better: the bronze or gold? I assume the bronze is a bit more unique?

This is one of the primary things I'm trying to find out before I decide whether to switch. I really HATE the MMr gold, and I have even been moving away from actual bronze on some of my other games. That said, the Smaug armor color sounds cool and I like the cabinet better on the SE. However, the bronze sounds cool too. I'd really like to see (or hear details about) the 2 finish colors before having to decide whether to switch or not. The flyer images are not enough to judge anything.
BTW - if you switch, do you have to get the gold Smaug? This sounds kinda dumb to me (again...without having seen it) so I might want the SE with a red Smaug.

Jack stated on the JJP forum that SE owners get a choice in what version of Smaug they want in their pin.

I thought we had until Dec 31... I prepaid in full but I don't remember getting any direct email from JJP about it.

I switched to SE but don't know my number, guess one of the first .... But noone knows currently how many SE's will be build at the end. Can I decide that I will have number 0007 of unknown or 102888 of unknown 
I guess SE will not have any number, or?

I think that existing orders must decide by November 30th and new orders will be accepted until December 31st. You might want to verify that with Jen.

The way I understand it, you can select any number that is not already taken. The plaque will then display that number. It will not be in the format xxxx of yyyy. Only the LE will be in that format.

Late December to early January.
I pre-ordered an LE from FUN! in Mesquite, TX back in 1Q14, but did not ask about the number. Both the LE and SE look great. That said, I think the LE art better reflects the overall theme of the movies by highlighting more of the characters. Since there are only cosmetic differences between the two, I will be staying with the LE. It's nice to have the choice.
