I was thumbing through a Noble Collection catalog we got before Christmas looking for topper ideas for The Hobbit pinball machine I have on order and noticed that many of the background pictures looked kinda familiar. The background pics in the catalog are identical to the the picures on the cabinet and backbox including:
Gandolf
Bilbo's door
Bilbo and the cauldron
The blueish picture on the LCD of them walking up a hill
The picture of Elrond in Rivendale on the LCD

I did not find the central picture of Bilbo and the dwarves in the house or of Thorin.

Don't get me wrong. I am not complaining and I like the layout. I know at this point this is "concept art" and subject to change and I am sure they have to work within their license agreement. I just hope give it a more painted look and blend it together well. I was really looking forward to the Avengers pin but I could not get past the awful cabinet and playfield artwork that is basically cut and paste of the characters preening, posturing and poseing. Blecccchhhh! Even in these preliminary pics, The Hobbit is much better.
