Thanks for the heads up, by the way

Mine are pretty good off the Weber Kettle!

If you want chicken wings, they look good, but they're not wings... Real wings are deep fried (ALWAYS!) and have hot sauce on them... (called Buffalo wings outside of WNY).

    #104 3 years ago

My absolute favorite wings are smoked then deep fried with hot sauce.

    They’re real and they’re spectacular!!

I’m going to watch some “football” at Wild Pitch, then head to Pecan Lodge for dinner[quoted image]

The good thing is you don’t have to sit through a Bears game this week. Cheers to that!

I had the “pitmaster” sandwich at Pecan Lodge and it was exceptional, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage topped with slaw, bbq sauce and jalapeños.

I balance it with a huge cocaine habit, it evens things out.

Atta boy. I do have a question though, is that a ghost watching you down that delicious sandwich? Countertop reflection by the plate.

It's the god damn king of sandwiches, and the cheese sauce for the fries is always the way to go, although my last couple of visits I've opted for the onion rings.

So did we, and fries, best onion rings around

This guy always eats sandwiches with me, he’s usually pretty quiet so I let him be.

    MBurger is good!

    #122 3 years ago

That looks great. This is a great time to be a burger addict, because it seems like a new burger joint is popping up every week. And they’re all good to great.

Had a really good burger recently while visiting Las Vegas. It was called The Habit Burger Grill and it was definitely a worthy contender. They also had a Ahi Tuna sandwich and a Tri-Tip sandwich on the menu which I found surprising. It was so good and the prices were so competitive it had me thinking how they make any money-maybe just volume? One of the best burger's I have ever had
(I had to post about a burger-I did not want this turning into a Portillo's thread )

That's Sam Harvey's favorite place. I've taken him to the location close to his home a few times. Never heard of them until he told me about it.

BBQ is our specialty here in KC but I want to talk fudge. My favorite shop is located in Eureka Springs Arkansas and named Two Dumb Dames. Not very nutritious but oh so delicious. I simply cannot describe how good their sweets are and appreciate the fast shipping they provide.

Mulate's in New Orleans. Make sure everyone at your table orders something different (don't forget the Crabmeat au Gratin) and eat family style. Closed for the 'vid, but they plan on opening back up at some point.
