Quoted from midniight:

My sink is clogged . I bought a 300 dollar drain auger . Plugged it in and 2 minutes later the 80 dollar cable now has a 90 degree kink in it . Didnt even make it past the first turn .
Happy idot here .

Do you have any idea what clogged it? If it is a bathroom sink, 9 out of 10 times it is hair.

Quoted from phil-lee:

I was mowing and Bull frog came out beside the foundation. Carefully backed up (he was moving to hide under the deck).
Moved him to a safe area and kept mowing. The grass Hoppers didn't get the kid glove treatment.
Save a frog, they are getting rare.

Been stomping lots of grasshopper hatchlings lately. I appreciate most frogs, but F those Cuban Tree Frogs. They shi* all over my house.

Quoted from EJS:

My aunt dumped bone broth down the toilet and flushed partway through. They’ve been at it for months with different chemicals and a snake from Home Depot. I fear their issue is below the toilet and unfortunately the basement has a finished ceiling in that area. It’s almost completely occluded. I honestly think it would have been safer to flush concrete mix.
The only good news is they have a purchase agreement to sell the house.

Try a few big pots of boiling water.

Quoted from EJS:

I’ll let her know, thank you! It drains quite slow so hopefully it can get there fast enough but anything is worth a try.

If it is draining at all, that’s a good sign. The heat will work through the entire clog. If you ever clog a toilet and don’t have a plunger, hot water to the rescue!!

Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:I finally made it back on the roof to get the pic.
Reception is great when the weather is good. When the weather is bad with wind and rain it messes up.
Not sure if I will ever be able to cut the cord on pay TV, but I am under contact for several more months anyway.

Move it higher. Wet, swaying trees are probably killing reception.

Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

It is called a burning machine. It is a very powerful fan to make a fire burn very hot and fast.

Reminds me of contraptions I've seen to burn out tree stumps more quickly.

Quoted from mooch:

I’m happy because I finally killed a fly in the house that’s been driving me nuts for hours!
[quoted image]

Takes ~1 minute to make. Just add water and some sort of beef. Flies go in, and then they eventually drown.
