He couldn't have picked a better choice in a classic tune!
This project makes me smile every time I see an update, just like the movie still does.
Great job. Like everyone else I can't wait to see the completed project.
Another video update before I get this ready for Free Play Florida going down next weekend. Sneak peak of the playfield!

A song snippet for your efforts....
"That bop it bop a we bop
I bop you rock a that rocks
Be bop be bop a lu that bops.
Oh that do that bop"
Quoted from judremy:Did you buy the 3 3/4" figures?
I bought a couple of the Mezco ones from 2007 rather than the newly released ones. I have Data and Chunk and they will be incorporated into the PF. I'll need to chop them down a bit. They came with some accessories too. Little statue of David, pinchers of peril, slice of pizza, etc. They are nicely done.
I'm regretting selling my Hollywood Heat, when it could have been converted, albeit, not by me, to a cooler game like the Goonies. Congrats! Wish I could be in Orlando to play it.
Video please...
It looked FANTASTIC!
So many people came by and just smiled, because of their memories from the movie.
Game looks great. I will get some play time at the show today. Had to have Spencer explain to me that is was a movie. Guess I missed out on that movie when I was younger LOL.

WTF x2? I down thumbed your post.
Finally got to play the game tonight!
Wow!, What a great job on every detail!
The game play now made you feel like a new release.
So many different strange shots.....
Much more satisfying with the new Art and Music.
A Best of Show Award from this player!
Thank you for bringing the game, Mike!
Congrats on finshing it up in time for the show. Looks great.
Yes when you get time or get home from show vids vids vids please.
Thank you so much everyone. It's been a really fun weekend. The show has been one hell of a stress test for the pin. I only played one game on it before bringing to the show, haha.
I'll be back up there today, so I'll see if I can do a quick video.

You mean you didn't see Creature from the Black lagoon when it was popular? I down thumbed your post for being too young.

I've seen CFTBL even though I wasn't born when it came out. My comment was also meant as a joke. Sorry if you didn't see it as funny.
This isn't much of a video. I promise to do a full game play video very soon. Below are also some pics of the playfield. Once I get it unwrapped and set back up, I'll shoot some more detailed shots of the pf.
Something pretty awesome happened Saturday night too. The Free Play Florida crew handed out awards to those that brought games to the show. They were generous enough to award me with 3. Ha! Best Homebrew, Cool New Title, and Best in Show. What an amazing feeling. The best feeling was talking with everyone that came out and played Goonies. The fellow collectors that have been following the progress and then being able to see it in person. It's so cool to see that excitement. Even Mr. Gary Stern stopped to check it out and gave me a few kind words. Very cool. I can't wait to start my next project now, ha!
It was great to finally play Goonies, Mike. It looks great and sounds better! Congrats on your awards!
Damn bro, shits dope... I want one... You should sell "Goonies Kits" you would make a killing... put me on the list if that ever happens.
Super cool! If anybody out there made a Goonies themed pin, I'd have no choice but to figure out a way to buy it! Great work there brother
I love this theme and wish a manufacturer would pick up this title. Great job on your custom machine it looks great.

Congratulations!! Well deserved Sir!
A piece of art right there
This game is proof that a great licensed theme makes all the difference. HH is a fun game to play, but the cheesy Miami vice theme detracts from the fun. Well done. I especially like the playfiels art, simple, straight forward, and fits the theme beautifully.

It is quite the difference. I happen to like the Hollywood Heat theme but I'm sure I'm in the minority. Haha.
Thanks for the kind words on the pf art. I'll be sure to get some more pics soon.
Quoted from agodfrey:I would buy a Goonies kit!!
Haha, no kits. Sorry. This will remain one of a kind.

Thanks! The best part is seeing others playing and enjoying this game.
It was a hell of a challenge for sure. I'm glad that I made this project public from the start. That really helped me stay motivated.
