Getaway: High Speed II, The
Williams, 1992Just added a Getaway to the collection and having an issue I’m hoping the group can provide some guidance?
When I turn the machine on, the DMD alternates between “factory settings restored “ and “bookkeeping totals cleared”. Any settings I set prior to shutting off are lost freeplay, etc).
The battery area is clean and I installed fresh batteries.
I can get the machine to play by us ing the coindoor buttons to get to the attract display .
Any suggestions?
If the battery holder is still on the board, it should be remoted asap anyway, or a battery-less RAM installed. Then see if you still have memory loss at power up. The battery holder may have hidden damage.
