Getaway: High Speed II, The
Williams, 1992Hi, sorry to sound like a total noob... but I am a total noob. My j120 Molex connector on The Getaway burnt up and I rebuilt it but when my machine turns on it has a really harsh start up. Everything works and it plays fine but I'm worried the wires are not in the correct spots. The WPC driver board is a brand new PINLED board and I do not want to damage the board. This is how I rebuilt it, I thought it looked correct based on the schematic but I just want to be sure.

It start up with a loud popping sound then clicking until it turns completely on... idk, if that makes sense.
I think mine had a harsh start up too.it's been out on loan for ages tho Sino don't remember!
Check your cabinet speaker isnt torn.
Mine makes some popping/ticking sounds on startup and a loud pop on power off. I've owned it for a year and it's always done that. Plays fine so I don't think much of it. I'm still a noob when it comes to the technical stuff so as long as everything is working fine, I'm happy.
