my up and down ramp doesn't go up in time and ball gets stuck under ramp, I tested coils and both read 11ohms, cleaned coil sleeve, replaced 3 220ohm resistors that looked burnt and leaky 100uf capacitor, soldered cracks joints on ramp board and grease ramp joints but still ball gets stuck. Might be bad ic on ramp board under playfield or wiring issue. What do you think? I do notice if I hold flipper button while ramp is switch is triggered then ramp doesn't go all the way up in time but if I toss the ball by hand to right freeway loop the ramp goes up everytime and ball passes. Weird. I check all the threads no one had that issue. Please only answer if you have a possible solution to prevent mass confusion. Thanks

Quoted from dmacy:

Are you also sure the switches are registering reliably? That will make a difference.

Good awswer but Yes, I ran a test and when I threw the ball by hand the ramp goes up and ball passes but if I shoot with the flipper the ramp doesn't go all the way up in time and ball gets stuck under the ramp. It feels like power loss issue maybe loose wire or bad ic on board.

Ok, what about the orbit switches and ramp switches?
I don't recognize that bracket either?

I tested the switches in settings but they seem good. I bought this Pinball machine few weeks ago, It was on location maybe it's the bracket? What's different about this bracket?

Quoted from dmacy:

I know that if the switches don't get hit, you will occasionally get that situation. The software (at least L2 that I run) is aware and will open up the ramp if you get a lazy ball up there. I'd take the assembly apart and clean it along with a new sleeve since you're already there doing the other repairs. I'm still leaning to a mech issue or switch.
I'm not sure why they put the bracket there but looks like to limit the ramp travel for some reason. There's some good pics when I swapped my own PF a few years ago:

That's interesting, I thought that metal brace was factory. Thanks for the help I'll try that.
