Quoted from insight75:Would be amazing if the design was out there for a while and the callouts include Taylor.
This design was probably started 18 months ago, so maybe.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:This is the best part of every new stern release...the fantasy stage.
The game can be anything you want it to be.
Remember when Star Wars was going to have 36 "Force Magnets?"
Gunna have lasers firing beams all around the room, with huge exploding spaceships in the game.
Then, little green aliens will crawl out of the cabinet and surrender
I think over the last year pinside has underestimated the global appeal of FF.
They fill huge stadiums everywhere.
I bet this title does surprisingly well, especially with the alien theme.
Dave G is a perfectionist, so you know he will be actively involved.
Lastly new designers like Jack, put their heart and soul into their designs, so I am expecting it won't disappoint.
Oh, and Tanio's DP rules are right up there with the best.
Quoted from Capn12:[quoted image]
This is awesome, and a perfect way to lay a launch out!
Other companies take note, this is the way to generate excitement!
Quoted from PantherCityPins:My picks for songs in the machine:
My Hero
All My Life
Learn to Fly
Everlong
Monkey Wrench (with KISS guy wizard mode….please!!)
The Pretender
Best of You
Times Like These
Wheels
That’s 9, if we get more even better!
I also think there is a pretty high chance we get callouts from Dave Grohl.
Walk
Run
Good songs for pinball, hope they are in.
Quoted from MamaLovesPinball:I don’t think they will. The way I read it, the Set List is the lineup of what is coming out the next few days. They could have worded it better. If I’m wrong, great! I’m excited to see what songs they will include.
It says 2/27.
It has to be today!
Quoted from Rarehero:LOL, yeah it's probably not intentional...but since the theme is a mashup of Saturday Morning cartoons, the Scooby vibe with the "gang" and the van is definitely there. The alien stuff seems like Yeti's final F.U. to Jpop. I'm calling this game Scooby FU
Or Fooby Foo!
Looks amazing.
Only criticism, is no Dave Grohl call outs?
He has such energy that his call outs would be awesome.
Stern, make it happen please
DLC is coming...
Just hope it's not for Dave Grohl callouts or an R rated feature with him.
Is it just me, but you can't have this game without some DG screams and F bombs!
Otherwise the game is looking insanely good already.
George said before FF came out that 'we are doing something that we have never done before'.
So far, not seeing what that could be?
Sounds like it might be to do with topper/figures etc?

Fantastic news!
Will take this game to another level.
Dave call outs
Quoted from pinbuoy:That sounds great.
As long as they don't have outdated info.
JD explained on his recent Pro FF stream that they didn't do callouts because at that time the band was morning Tyler and they didn't think it was right. But he did say "you never know"
So I'm not sure which is correct
That info does just say Dave Grohl callouts, so hoping it is up to date.
I was on the fence about owning a FF, but Grohl callouts make me 100% on getting one.
Will take this game to the next level.
Quoted from onemilemore:Watched a bit of Laser Los streaming Foos last night, and it looks like a blast to shoot. My code concerns are still creeping in, though, especially when a player of his caliber is asking how long some of the modes are.
As an avid, but still intermediate, player, I really appreciate games where modes have some challenge but are still beatable with good strategy. Maiden and TMNT come to mind, as does Tanio's work on Deadpool. Knowing that I can beat the modes but still have to string something together to get to the mini wizards/wizards keeps me coming back.
Rush, on the other hand, never felt satisfying in this regard. I never beat all 6 song modes in a game before letting it go – I got tired of grinding through Working Man and Limelight (a song I absolutely adore) and often would end up hating having to play those songs. I'm worried Ray is taking FF in that direction by making the modes last a bit too long, at least as far as I am watching in early streams.
That said, code is in its infancy and a lot can change. I'd like to see one of two options:
- Fewer shots to complete the modes
- Visits to the mini wizard cities opening up by playing 3 modes instead of having to beat them entirely
Curious for anyone else's thoughts. I'm pretty pumped on this game as a pure shooter alone, but I'm wondering if anyone else has enough time on it to comment on how the modes feel when you're really getting into it.
Maiden has it right with length of modes.
Too many shots and it becomes a wood choppers delight.
Games are becoming too long to play.
An hour to get to the main wizard mode is too long.
Focus on breadth, with high value rewards.
Icarus on Maiden a great example - can finish mode early or continue for massive points.
Quoted from Haymaker:In case you haven't heard, the word on the street is that there will be additional accessories (IE- action figures) that plug into the topper on this game. Ergo the price will probably be cheaper for the base and the rest of the money made up by buying the additional accessories for it. I'm willing to bet Jeff is pretty close to spot on with his prediction.
Any word on the Dave Grohl call outs?
They would take the game up another notch.
Quoted from paul_8788:The only thing "official" I have heard is Jack mentioning a couple of times that after Hawkins passed the band decided not to do callouts because it wouldn't feel right without Taylor being involved.
Whether that is just for now and is a possibility in the future, dunno.
I just remember reading a news article that said they were coming, but maybe that was bad info.
Doesn't need other band members, just Dave screaming at player!
An adult Dave mode.
Quoted from DCfoodfreak:I'm torn. I have GZ and FFle is on the way. Its been between Bond and Deadpool right now to either compliment or break them up. And I have LZle and love it. Yup super simple but just a nice break to shoot the ramps and spinners.
To all those who say LZ is boring, take a 40x ( or higher as it is limitless ) multiplier into a multiball and watch your heart rate go sky high!
I would have the LE if I could for lots of reasons.
I much prefer backglasses to wafer thin translites as well ( LE only ).
Quoted from PoMC:Unexpectedly had a chance to play a Pro today at Hub City Vinyl in Hagerstown, MD. They have a row of band pins set for freeplay. Thought it was a Guardian of the Galaxy when I turned the corner and saw the full side of the game. Then I was, Foo? Cool!
I was underwhelmed by the game and my friend had the same opinion. The shots were cool, but nothing clicked for me as a total package. Didn't feel fun right off the bat as a whole. I'm indifferent to the music and the call outs were ok.
Definitely seems like I should've really liked it, but alas I didn't. Oh well.
Call outs are my biggest worry.
Calling Dave G
Quoted from insight75:Jack was just asked about callouts on the stream and said, "I cannot speak to that....my apologies"
I take that comment as a positive, in that there may be exciting news to follow.... at some point.
