We getting another price increase?? More drop-targets than we've ever seen?
This needs to be one of the best tables Stern has ever produced IMO...

Looks good, but not GZ good, but it’s not fair to compare it to one of the best of all time imo. GZ keeps you so connected to every shot and what’s going on… this is like most music pins, cool music while you work through the code. This has a much more familiar feel to it, but I agree it’s better than a lot of other machines out there. Seeing it being played didn’t blow me away. But it didn’t make me say nope either.
Can’t wait to flip this at someone’s house or on location. I’m out because of my current budget. Not to mention I’m out of space.
Congrats to Jack, what a first game! And congrats to all getting one, enjoy!!
Quoted from Desmodromic:Yeah, I'm not understanding when people express concern that the upper playfield somehow "kills the flow." Aren't the ball paths of the right ramp identical, if you simply refrain from using the upper playfield flipper? Ball returns directly to the right flipper in exactly the same way. DeadFlip said this in his stream of the Prem and there isn't anything here suggesting otherwise.
<cue BM66 tension music here>
Or is the temptation of the upper flipper simply too great!?!!

I think guys (and I've been guilty of it too) just want to make excuses for buying the pro over the premium. It feels good to save the money. But if you got the extra money, the Premium is definitely the way to go on this one. The pro with the flat printed plastics not only plays different, it FEELS different to me and puts out a different vibe. I'll save money on other things (IE, making dinner at home for a few months, etc.) to make up for it if I have to.
The funny thing with pinball- the less you have on the playfield, of course it's going to be faster lol. But I need substance and the feeling that the package is complete and loaded like it should be.
Now the price point we are at now... that's a whole different thing IMO. I hate that we now are expected to pay almost $10K to get a premium. But I can't just go to a pro on some titles, and I can either accept it or not, right?
I'm not posting this to crap all over Pro owners, I've a pro owner on several games too, just giving my perspective
Quoted from Doctor6:Usually I agree. I have the pro deadpool but acknowledge that the premium is better. I simply couldn't justify the price. Not the case with this one. I literly prefer the pro. But I don't wanna hash this out s 20th time.
Totally get it. It's been beat to death (pro vs prem)
All I can say is, at TPF, I could FEEL the difference on the premium and it made me want it. But just to muddy the point, I like DP Pro better.
Just proves there is no winning here with whats right or wrong
Quoted from kermit24:Start cranking the left orbit loop around multiple times on DP Prem and report back. Massive difference that one shot.
I have not put time in on a DP premium or LE, so I guess I'm lucky I don't know the difference
Funny story though- I bought a NIB Iron Maiden and absolutely loved it. I had it for almost a year and thought that since I loved the pro so much it would be great to have the upgrades on the IM Prem with the differences in the ramps and lock... boy was I wrong. Perhaps it was a personal thing or I just got used to the pro so much, but after owning the premium for a few months I absolutely regretted selling my Pro. I think many like the Premium over the Pro on that title, but my tastes were for the speed and flow of the "lesser" model.
