I got a note yesterday from my Disti that Foo LE’s ship to them this week/next. I’ve paid and I have a 4/24 delivery and setup date scheduled!

Out of curiosity, does anybody know why the overseas machines only have one coin slot?

I always assumed a mix of tradition and Euro coin slots needing to be changed out a lot more due to the different coins (especially in the past). Only one mech to change out instead of two.

The only good reason I've heard American games have two slots is to have a redundancy if one slot gets jammed up. Maybe this is more prone on American coin mechs? Kids will shove a stack of pennies and dimes into a game. Idk if you can shove in multiple Euros at once and jam it up like you can with American coins.

If there is a list for this, Go ahead and put me on "the list" for Area 51 for Foo Premium.

The same exact thing happened to me with a FF missing spinner that went flying off last week. Looked for 30 min and could not find it anywhere. Went thru the same progression you did in attempt to track down that sucker. Found it laying flat on the back orbit. All is good now.

It’s a good sign when you find yourself continuously going back to pay to play a game you’ll be getting soon!

I’m on the first run of premiums and should have mine in a week or two but I cant stop visiting the local brewery to play it! Also, my wife has gone twice so far and she is liking it, which is also a good thing!

Tri-Bot Sample arrived today and looks nice, though needs a few tweaks and want to work out adding led inside behind the front face.

I doin't think this is in the game code yet. Bot Frenzy is, and it's super fun with the Monkey Wrench 8 bit chip tune.

I finally got a chance to play a Pro yesterday, and this pin is excellent. Flow monster. Had me grinning ear to ear, and fun rules so far.

This almost confuses me more.

It looks like the forthcoming Combo-Tron Multiball is missing from this mode map. I'd imagine this would be it's own bubble around where Foo-Bot Multiball is.

Yeah, I mean I can only afford the Pro but in this case it doesnt feel like we're getting a slashed up/cut down game really.... yeah, it's not gonna look as good and our ability to spend even more on the game (lighting) is limited but it still looks and plays brilliant from the reports out there. Not like Led Zepplin where pro was..... bad....

I canceled my premium order after playing one. I loved the pro. Had a blast. Ordered a premium. Played a premium.... canceled my order. I just love the pro.

Pro honestly feels like a terrific value and lacking the mini playfield is addition by subtraction.

Im not disagreeing that the pro is an awesome game and it's an awesome buy for the savings over a premium. Anyone in on a pro is gonna love it and the value.

I had the chance to play the premium (before the LE's and the pros came out) a handful of times right when the game was revealed but since then I have only been playing the pro (a lot) at a local brewery and at another place not far from my home. Even though i have been having a blast on a pro the last couple of weeks and would be happy with a pro model… I’m really looking forward to the premium because that upper playfield is fast and fun just like the rest of the game. And the actual toy upgrades are really nice too. Plus you have the two mechanical upgrades of the Under lord magnet & the death save post.

I think there are enough upgrades that the Premium owners will be super happy with them and that “almost” justify the extra money. I also think that, like Godzilla, this game is worth it to spend the extra money for the premium.They are both super fun and great shooting games. Both have awesome pro models with all the same shots as the premiums but the premium models on the two games just add more awesomeness!

There is a “Foo post” deadpost Mod now that is even Better than the Premium Deadpost.
So right there Pro has an edge.

There are Van & Overlord mods that will be available for the pro.

Rough estimating, the way mods are being developed nowadays,
A pro can be upgraded to a Premium for $500-$750USD.

the only thing missing is the overlord magnet, which really, meh. And expression lighting which would be added cost of $500-$600USD for premium owner down the line.

Yes, let's get a few things straight here:

- Foo Fighters pro is a great game
- Foo Fighters premium/LE is a great game
- if you aggressively try to compare ANY Stern pro to a premium and say "IS IT FINANCIALLY WORTH IT???" while trying to line-item price the differences the answer is going to be no
- you are not less of a person if you buy a Stern pro
- you are not a better champion of life if you buy a Stern premium/LE vs. a pro
- Foo Fighters pro cannot be "upgraded to a premium for $500-750 USD"
- modders may make a modded Area 51 sculpt to replace the plastic on a Foo Fighters pro - I don't think any of these will ever amount to a functioning upper playfield (to some people's dismay, and some others' delight!) but I could eventually be wrong
- from what we know about the Foo Fighters dead post pro mod that has been talked about and never seen in action yet, some people may like it better than how the dead post works on the premium/LE, and some people likely would not like it as much as how the premium/LE works (but it may be "good enough" / worth installing to those same people). It is not patently "better".

Good summary. Buy what you like, like what you buy. I gave up trying to justify shit to myself a long time ago and my life is better for it.

Thanks for sharing this, looks great! Also, the lack of callouts is notable. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with. I really love the overall theme, the graphics, etc. - so I'm expecting to dig whatever callouts they come up with as well.

I'm in on an LE. Looking forward to it. I considered downgrading to a Pro because it's so good. I'll probably stick with the LE though. That said, no way the extra money is "worth it"

I won't spend my time trying to convince someone else my decision is a good one. Fact is, most people would think we're ALL batshit crazy for spending the type of money we do on pinball... and that includes Pros!

Enjoy your machines, Pro, Premium or LE. Pinball is a great hobby and makes us all lighter in the wallet!
