In for a Premium. Selling my JJP PoTC to make room. Its tough, but that game is the oldest of my wife-limit of 3.

Which one of your 3 wives is the oldest?
Quoted from yancy:I hope it becomes like a 20 year battle between KME and JD for who can design the craziest layout with the most loops, jump ramps, cross playfield trick shots, you name it.
but who will get the bigger BOM for each game? and I think that licensing costs can cut down on the BOM left over for other stuff in the game.
Quoted from Rarehero:LOTR pinball turned me into an LOTR fan.
Foo Fighters pinball is gonna turn me into a Foo fan.
Bravo, congrats Jack! What a cornerstone premiere. Yeti, as always - BRINGING IT…bringing it EXTRA since it looks to be his work on the LCD, as well.
I usually like Yeti’s art but this is too much sherbet ice cream looking.
Also those cheap ass drop targets are stupid looking!Other then that it looks ok I guess but doesn’t seem to rock as hard as GnR
Just dropping in to say...This game looks F'ing incredible!!!
Jack is just a phenomenal ambassador for our hobby, and now he drops this on us. Couldn't be more thrilled that his first outing appears to be easily one of Stern's most innovative games. Had to go back and watch that release video a few times to try and figure out everything that he packed into this title. Those inlane targets look like a lot of fun to shoot for, and that outlane post also adds a new element as well. Cannot wait to see how these both are incorporated into the code. Also loving the inner and outer upper playfield looping options. There is just so much to love about Jack's first game. Zombie Yeti's art is also amazing and will really help this title pop in a lineup. Really hope to own a premium at some point.
I bought Scooby, I bought Foo Fighters, for a second there I thought I was in trouble and going to have to buy Harry Potter but JJP helped me out on that one!
With the art on the Pro having a void at the Deadpost spot, I also wonder if there's a plan for that area. Stern can basically sell the plastic uppost part of that mech with a piece of tape and Pro owners stick it to the apron. In the code it could be when you qualify that save, the left flipper still works upon the left outlane drain. In all other single ball play scenarios, the left outlane disables the left flipper for a few seconds so the bangback isn't possible. Cheap and easy way to sell Pro owners half a post and a piece of tape for $99 + shipping.

Outside of the music, that game has some of the least "hard rock" sounds imaginable. Piano rollover thing drives me nuts. Typical JJP slot machine-o-rama. But hey, there's an ass for every seat. I'm glad some folks like it.

bwaha. Good lord.
Quoted from heyitsjoebob:Is this needed on an LE or do you get most of the benefits from the upgraded audio that comes with it?
Hey heyitsjoebob !
The LE has minimally upgraded speakers and uses the same factory amplifier electronics as the pro / premium trims.
Our PW label speakers are in a different league and the rest of our kit offers a huge upgrade to the factory audio hardware, and for all trims including the LE.
Hope that helps!
Thanks,
Dan

Guess I am a big Foo Fighter fan now. Game looks incredible! ZY art on point. Layout loaded with fun new things. 4 flippers. Even the upper pf looks fun. I don't know what the robot stuff is about but love it!
Quoted from PanzerFreak:So the outlane up-post, just curious, does anyone else consider that a toy or mech? lol
I know you're joking, but I would call it a mech (just like I'd call Benson posts a mech)
It's doing something unique instead of just acting as a diverter/barrier.

Yup! Exactly, cool feature.

Anything that bumps up our coveted coil count is a win in my book.
I've rewatched the longer video a few times now. I don't usually get excited about flow, but the shots on this do look very fun.
Tried to buy an LE - had it in the cart no problem, but Stern's ordering system would not let me use my home address as a valid shipping location. Tried multiple locations including a local FedEx delivery center, same thing. Invalid shipping address.
So I gave up and ordered a Premium from CoinTaker Didn't have the best experience with delays on my TS4CE but want to give Melissa and team a second chance.
Quoted from bangerjay:Looks like another stolen idea
An alien themed foo fighter pin is a stolen idea? Stolen from who?

The Outlane kickout idea
Having some sort of story in a music based pin is a great idea, I wish more music pins had that. By having a story the modes themselves are made more interesting, and there's still that feeling of being on a quest versus simply progressing through songs.

Many distributors still have LEs, from the posts in here. You probably can save tax going that way too, depending on location and distributor.
Quoted from manadams:Scooby buyers be like...
I got a free topper
I got a real backglass
I got a powdercoated door
I got a better sound system
I got free speaker lights/custom speaker grills
I got a free cup holder
If you wait a year on Scooby code you will have half the game Foo will be. Scooby is a one legged dog in this race.

Valid point. I don't know why this hasn't been done before? (unless I'm mistaken)
Such a great idea too. I'm sure we'll see more of this in the future. It's like having two themes in one. There are so many non-Foo Fighter fans out there who are in on this game and that's one of the big reasons why.
This game looks insane. I'm absolutely floored / shocked. I didn't expect it to be this good, and I haven't even seen gameplay yet. For it to already be in the conversation of "will it compete for the top spot" tells everyone the initial impression that this game had overall. No other game had this kind of vibe.
Amazing. Stern has a gem on its hands with this one. Bravo Jack Danger!

See Stern's Iron Maiden.

This. Keep searching. There are 1,000 LE's to be had...

ACNC?
Im so pumped to get an LE....Paying through the nose, but...time to start selling off my collection I guess
I’m getting a premium but this is definitively a game where the pro is a good value not terribly stripped down. Thanks Jack! Good Stern.
Quoted from superNoid:Do we know the playfield differences yet on the Pro vs Premium?
No upper playfield. Plastics instead of models. No death post.
I ordered a prem and if both sides of the cabinet are the same ,I’m thinking of buying a set of the pros to put on one side .I like the art on these that much If anyone else wants to do the same lmk we’ll split the price
Quoted from SLCpunk2113:No upper playfield. Plastics instead of models. No death post.
Thanks, so is it confirmed Pro doesn't have the death post?
Quoted from superNoid:Thanks, so is it confirmed Pro doesn't have the death post?
Yes
Scooby was on my radar but this just bumped it down a space, this looks amazing, I hope it shoots as well as it looks and the code is tight (which I imagine it will be tight out of the box).
Other pins I’m looking at in the near future is the medieval madness remake, I’m all in on that and finally saved up for it but dang, it’s hard when you have the money ready to go and something like this drops. Decisions decisions…
