Quoted from TheBeefSupreme:Never gone for a NIB LE, but I did on this. It's also the first theme my wife insisted we get, so that helps.
Same!
I didn’t buy it; my wife did!

Quoted from Rarehero:LOL, yeah it's probably not intentional...but since the theme is a mashup of Saturday Morning cartoons, the Scooby vibe with the "gang" and the van is definitely there. The alien stuff seems like Yeti's final F.U. to Jpop. I'm calling this game Scooby FU
Or Fooby Foo!
I originally had no interest in this game and now I am in in an LE. I think it looks great. For me the LE is the way to go with Rock pins - getting the green powder coat, mirror backglass and the expression lighting add so much.
Quoted from PinWoofer:Looking forward to some epic audio!

Is this needed on an LE or do you get most of the benefits from the upgraded audio that comes with it?
Quoted from MapleSyrup:Played with Foos several times in the mid-nineties. They were always a blast to be around. Amazing Live. Great songs, and the best energy. Dave came out of one of the darkest situations possible as a force for Rock and Roll good. They are one of the best live bands on the planet. Sense of humour, sense of adventure. They Always take the music seriously, but never themselves. Perfect.
Jack is perhaps the best Ambassador that pinball has ever had. He’s amazing at the game, he’s funny, he’s passionate. He’s built a community through his streaming that is loyal, engaged, and excited.
Game looks INCREDIBLE. So excited for Jack and the team. Can’t wait to get mine. This will be travelling with me to a city near you this summer!
Do VIP tickets to your shows include time to play pinball backstage with you?! Lol

Even the ‘upgraded’ audio on the LEs is meh IMHO.
Quoted from skink91:Even the ‘upgraded’ audio on the LEs is meh IMHO.
So far, the audio settings come set up for the Premium...if you monkey with them, you can get the LE speakers sounding really great.

Hmmm. Tips for this would be great… as haven’t been able to get there yet.
Quoted from acupunk12:Does anyone know who in tristate area will probably have this first?
Come on dude you know jackbar will have one in a week!!
Congratulations Jack Danger - you knocked it out of the park!
Such an amazing first attempt at designing a full cornerstone title. Can't wait to see more!!!
Let the Foo-Mo begin!
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Come on dude you know jackbar will have one in a week!!
Jon is probably camped out Stern right now with a UHAUL and a guitar singing Waiting on a War

It's an interesting dynamic between the two. Scooby is a cartoon solving mysteries....Stern made Foo Fighters a cartoon, fighting aliens. They both have a upper playfield, they both have a van that eats balls. Assuming code is up to snuff on both, I would think Scooby is still the better value.
However, I am in the camp that Scooby is just TOO old school for me at this time in my life...whereas I can somehow justify Foo Fighters for various shallow reasons.
Looks way more fun than I thought it would be. I basically echo everything people are saying about how I like that there appears to be a story for the band to journey through and not just concerts. Aliens are a winner. Artwork looks nice. Compared to Led Zeppelin, this thing is crushing it.

Damn it I lost the bet.
Man...I was not excited about FF at announcement, but my first look at it definitely piqued my interest. Looks like it's going to be a great game!
Quoted from Gutterghoul:The geometry in this game is jaw dropping.
I hope it becomes like a 20 year battle between KME and JD for who can design the craziest layout with the most loops, jump ramps, cross playfield trick shots, you name it.
Quoted from yancy:We're one "snowflake" or "woke" away from a full pinside bingo card.
Not quite, my card has "SLAMTILT claims to have invented The Deadpost" on it.
I'm a Scooby Buyer. I'm in on a Foo LE. Gonna be a lot of green in 1 corner of my basement. lol. Can't wait.

This Scooby buyer didn't get any of that... but I did get a super cool apron ball lock mech, a giant upper PF, a cool bookcase flipper, some sculpts, a moving toy, a drop target between the flippers, inline drop banks, 5 wireforms, 3 magnets, 3 slings, 2 spinners, a 2nd crazy ball lock mech, and an interactive bash toy.
And I did it for less than $8K as a SE buyer.
Quoted from EternitytoM83:Not quite, my card has "SLAMTILT claims to have invented The Deadpost" on it.
SLAMTILT claims to have invented a lot of shit...

Love Scooby-Doo theme but the game looks way to easy and way too many horseshoe shots. I was bored watching that stream everyone gushed about.
This looks sooo much more interesting.
Ugh man. Here we go. Scooby haters coming out. Buy the theme you like best! Having both available is great for the hobby!
Quoted from Fsdre:When do we think premiums will be shipping?
Flipnout mentioned the first Premiums shipping in April
Quoted from TreyBo69:I like that the upper playfield loop has a diverter that stops you from looping up there all day like BKSOR premium
Also like Royal Rumble. OHHHHH YEAAAAA
Quoted from skink91:It even looks like there is a nod to Magic Girl on the cabinet head of the LE?[quoted image]
It's actually a Zombie Yeti gig poster he did back in 2018. A lot of his FF posters are shown throughout all 3 models.
Getting an LE.

HIT THE TAG BUTTON
I also thought of that one...it also has the fun little spot to park a ball. Underrated upper playfield

Underrated game period!
Quoted from kool1:Love Scooby-Doo theme but the game looks way to easy and way too many horseshoe shots. I was bored watching that stream everyone gushed about.
This looks sooo much more interesting.
They're completely different layouts. Scooby is more of a fan layout with an upper PF. Very "meat and potatoes" pinball, which is good because some of their layouts don't connect with me at all (looking at you RZ).
FF looks to be the love child of Radical, IMDN, GZ, some weird Gottliebs, and other games with very "loopy" layouts.
Both when done right are super fun. I really wish I was more of a FF fan because it does look like a blast. But I'm not regretting or reconsidering my Scooby SE purchase one iota.
Quoted from EternitytoM83:Not quite, my card has "SLAMTILT claims to have invented The Deadpost" on it.
I mean you may not respect virtual pins, but he has been pretty innovative over the years. He has good ideas.
Quoted from Zablon:I mean you may not respect virtual pins, but he has been pretty innovative over the years. He has good ideas.
This is true… it would be nice if he wouldn’t advertise it so much though.
Thanks for opening the Scooby hate portal, Neil! This FF hype forum was missing something. I couldn't place my finger on what was missing, but man you nailed it!
I think FF is going to be a great pin. It definitely looks interesting, I still need to digest the video. Man they zoomed thru the models. My first impression is this looks different.
Also, Neil my above comment was just in jest. I know how important you are to the European pinball scene and definitely don't need your supporters coming at me.
Quoted from NeilMcRae:[quoted image]
Somebody is nursing a dumb grudge and looking for a stupid fight that has nothing to do with this pinball machine reveal.
"I hate inclusion but why isn't Foo Fighters more inclusive cause Jack always talks about inclusion!!!"
Man don't you guys EVER get fuckin' tired of this stuff? You are literally wearing out an entire country with it.Nevermind I retired!!
Love what I'm seeing from Scooby and FF. Why can't we like them both? Consumers win with all these new releases happening.
Quoted from Beechwood:Game looks great and shots look very cool and flowy.
However, showcase videos should not include the following crookedness:

Dude I said the same and thought I was bananas for seeing it! haha. .
Quoted from Gubbin:Love what I'm seeing from Scooby and FF. Why can't we like them both? Consumers win with all these new releases happening.
Less about hating and more about pocketbooks and space forcing decisions.

Buying both here, some have to crap on the other guy so their tribe knows they're loyal.
Quoted from yancy:Anyway, back on the sunny side of the street, any/all Chicagoland operators please post when you get one of these on location. Can't wait to play it.
likely enterrium and logan arcade very soon
