    Might be worth looking into one of those Shaper routers, the ones that are computer assisted.

    We have a coin door on our virtual pinball that has the yellow/straw colored inserts, and I don't have much issue with it recoloring the LEDs I've used with it.

    That said, pink is kind of a tough lighting color anyway.

    Flat spot filed into the shaft, and a matching intrusion in the hole of the gear it mates with.
