Really need a set of slingshot plastics. Mine are not great at all. Can't find any online anywhere. If anyone has the ability to print them or has some I will gladly pay for them.

Quoted from ss-pinball:There was some discussion a few years ago about having CPR doing plastics through their "custom shop"--they had no interest in doing repros for us otherwise. The requirements would be the same--a full scan of each plastic at the required resolution--And, of course, the costs would be significantly increased because, well, Stu. AND CPR would retain the scans after charging us hourly to improve/correct/clean up the scans--so they could continue to gouge future owners of this title. (PLEASE, spare me about how they are a business--I totally get it. The guy could be polite about saying no, that's all. Also, it's not like he's curing cancer. He's cleaning up scans of art and tweaking colors for pinball machines--not the most precise or fussy art to begin with. They could also fix their mistakes (read: "take care of their customers and admit their mistakes") on other titles (like Meteor), but "they're a business" at that too). There may have been a problem with getting to license FP2 as well. Let's face it, FP2 isn't the hottest title out there--there are only 140 or so listed with pinside users, so it wouldn't be a money maker for them.
That's the problem with small outfits like this: they can't really afford to be in business for a niche interest like pinball and they end up with a mixed (at best) customer service experience because they are really probably existing hand-to-mouth and can't afford to do the right thing when they screw something up. There's also a real question about what and how much they can offer.
What the industry needs is someone who can print plastics, playfields and backglasses on demand and not have them look like crap. These things would need to function appropriately. Not sure that would be possible to build an effective business model around for anyone.
Thanks for the response. I kind of figured the answer was sorry, you're out of luck, but it's worth a shot. I understand and agree with your sentiment entirely. It sucks that there's no one to make them, but at the same time I can understand a little. Very few people have the time, energy, or expertise to devote their like to pinball. The ones who do probably get hounded every day for their time. I suppose there's a little give and take there. Plus, like you said FP2 is a very small market.
I'll keep scouring for plastic sets. Maybe someone will part one out and I can snag a set.
Quoted from Flashpin:That backglass is awesome. Did you end up buying? I really need a backglass for a pin a recently picked up. Would love to buy if you could part with it..

I have a pretty bad one, if you just want one to put in the game. It looks fine when the lights aren't on lol.
