I wandered into the Amazon delivery driver's subreddit once and it's amazing how often they suggest marking stuff delivered and throwing it on the roof of the customer's house for any little inconvenience during their delivery attempt. They also all apparently pee in bottles in their delivery truck...and their truck, thus, smells like urine. Not a stretch to think other courier services have similarly disgruntled employees.

Fedex is the only Company that has chalked up a non arrival. I felt their response was dismissive at best so no more.
On the other hand DHL in my experience are magnificent. Fast, reliable and caring staff so DHL is go to for me.
DHL barely exists in the US.
