If you are looking for pinsiders to back your plan, the first thing you need to do is explain it in one sentence or less.

    Quoted from PinSpinner:

Evolving game code ruins ratings. Fix it.

See how easy it is to get your point across when you summarize? Also, WTF cares this much about top 100 ratings? Guys, it's ok if your favorite games don't make the top 100. Your enjoyment of said games is no lower or worth any less than anyone else's.

    Quoted from PinSpinner:

And this is exactly why my platform is for Rankings Reform. We need to make the Top 100 great again.
Seriously, though, this illustrates my point very well. A lot of people put stock into that list when buying a machine. A lot of them get burned. Especially for people in rural areas or foreign countries who don’t have access to machines in the wild that they can play before they buy. They have to rely on a machine’s rating in order to make purchase decisions. If the list were *more* bulletproof (not that it can be or will be perfect…ever), then it would be more helpful. Like it or not, that list holds weight and it should be more balanced.

In this day and age, you can watch hundreds of videos for almost any game. I would suggest people watch some gameplay if they aren't able to find a pin near them. Do people really use the top 100 as a shopping list? Seems pretty short-sighted.
