Added this animated Kona Brewing Long Board LED sign to tiki lounge today. When on the lights in the water fade and makes it look like the water is moving. Pretty cool effect.

Mine is this 1970’s Royal Hawaiian “Mai Tai.”
I always make a double. No better way to consume four shots of rum. However, a true Mai Tai wouldn’t include pineapple juice. I’d prefer to name it after a pin and call the drink a “Surf Champ.”

When I was five years old there was a little store around the corner called "The Tiki Shop". I cannot remember exactly what they sold, probably stuff like in this thread but I do remember the great aroma of bamboo inside. I think that's the only reason I remember it all! Perhaps there was a big 'tiki craze' in the early 60s.
Sidewinders Fang or a Jet Pilot are my favorites. But for a quick n eaay drino

My parents were recently in London and bummed Trader Vic's had no merch for sale and no swizzles. All they could bring back for me was a coaster, haha.

I had it shipped from Disneyland Trader Sam's, it's a gargoyle from the Haunted Mansion. There is a Facebook group where people will ship them to you, usually at cost or a few bucks over to cover the drink.

Ha yeah, I was there a few weeks ago (staying at the Hilton) and asked for some of that stuff...they said it was "supply chain" and they are having trouble getting all that stuff from the U.S. right now.
That's what they said anyway.
