Trying to find used 2” dead bumper bodies that arent melted or deformed along with a few other parts in this add.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/unique-playfield-posts-needed#post-4677884
Quoted from boilerman:PM me i have a lot of the dead bodies in good shape.
let me know what parts you need i can dig through the bins while i am getting the dead bodies
Ok so a few hours after reading this, i cant tell if youre serious. The play on words is mindbending. PM sent anyway.
Quoted from DennisDodel:I've often wondered if any neighbors ever overheard our conversations when picking up games, many times late at night. "I've got the legs. Put the head in the back seat and then we'll put the body in the back and cover it with a blanket".
Hahaha so great because its so true!
Then you start talking about taking the balls out before you leave and people really think you’re sick.
Need a 7” disc with numbers 1-99 and a blank space for 0. For a flipperless woodrail Bally Rocket (1947) The one i have is 6.5” and wont display the numbers properly. I made a 7” one myself with a water slide decal but its not working out as well as id like. Im going to try making another but figured id see if any of these are out in the wild. Please dont suggest Steve Young. Trying to describe this part to him is a suicide mission.
5C2681A7-C79C-4B3A-9E73-EE217E210265 (resized).jpegQuoted from MarkG:A lot of those discs have shrunk and warped. I wonder if you could print out the number band on clear adhesive vinyl or mylar and stick it to a new plexi or acrylic disc?
Heres what i did with a water slide decal but the light doesnt shine through bright enough.
126A0E5E-AEDE-4691-9F90-CD9BDAE5576D (resized).jpeg061B0781-BB8B-412E-8546-9EF25851859E (resized).jpegQuoted from JethroP:Did you make your decal from a dirty scan, or from software? If from software, you should get perfectly clear and bright light shining through if your font is set for 0% opacity.
I scanned the original, enlarged to 7 inches, set to black and white, boosted the contrast and sharpened. And printed to water slide. I honestly think i did a damn good job. Problem is water slide decals are transparent. So more light goes through and doesnt project properly.
The pic from the front was taken in the dark however if lights are on you cant see it.
As for the bulb it fits in an 89 socket but is WAY brighter than an 89. Has “63” on the side.

I thought that the bulb was weak, but replacing it with a fresh one gave the same result. Perhaps this is as good as it gets...?
Machine looks gorgeous!
Thank you! Maybe im just being a perfectionist about it then. If it seems to be the best itll get without doing mods ill let it be. (Hate saying that)
Quoted from MikeO:Is there a way to position a tube between the lamp and the backside of the credit display? That might help focus the light more on the credit display.
Its funny you asked that because i was trying that route. I wasnt seeing a difference. Went to autozone and got a few different bulbs but the 63 still shines the brightest. Only have 5.5 volts to work with. I wanted to try using a super bright LED flasher but i dont think its got enough voltage in the socket. Still tinkering. I mean it looks good with the lights off but i really want to get this to be able to compete with the rest of scores in the backbox. My next idea is a different colored bulb so the number isnt white. Might see it better with a red number on a white screen instead of white on white.
Quoted from JethroP:Will this work? Pinball Resource. [quoted image]
Yes i believe A1168A is what i need! Thank you. I like reaching to reach out to community to see if anyone has stuff before using PBR though. Im gonna give it a day or 2 then I’ll contact Steve. Thanks for finding this @jethrop
Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:If anyone is still looking!
Bally Space Time body only

What is beta pinside?
Quoted from mark532011:I am looking for the size of the bell in my target pool.
Its missing and I talked to PBR and he said the schematic doesn't specify the size so he needs me to tell him. Can anyone with a Target Pool measure the bell in the lower left and tell me what size it is? the two that are there are 3" and 5"[quoted image]
paintpins just sent me a message this morning saying he has 3” bells.
Quoted from mrm_4:Looking for these plastics for Shangri-La. If you have one or all please let me know.

Checking back to see if anyone has any Shangri-La plastics?
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/the-em-seeking-parts-thread/page/100#post-4935347
Looking for a wire harness for a williams coin door. Specifically for a Shangri-La, but late 1961-early 1967 should work for this style door.
Quoted from smohr:mrm_4, I have a FEMALE jones plug your looking for (4 down each side). I also have a MALE jones plug (5 pins on each side) just cut off the last 2 pins. This came off a Williams Fun-Fest. Yours if you want/need them
thanks
steve
Jones plugs found!
Thanks Steve!
Quoted from RWH:Did you call Steve personally and ask for this or just look at his site? He has many more parts that are not shown on his site so I always call them or text them.
I didn’t call. I guess I can tomorrow was just hoping someone had one on here.
Quoted from PinballAir:I didn’t realize Steve at pbr sells them. I will buy several from him. Thanks
Are they on his site? I can't find it? I need the metal lift and plastic sides for a 1967 Williams Shangri-La
Quoted from bonzo71:I think PinballAirs reply was for outhole switch parts and not the backglass trim. Let's hope someone will reply for your Shangri-la and my Touchdown.
Thanks I was looking at avatars not names
I know this is a long shot but i looking for stack number 3 in Williams score motors and the switches that make up C.
This is from a Williams Score Motor used in games from 1964-1968
From what I can tell the switch is SW-ICA-1 in the parts catalog and I'm not sure what the lower switch is for the ball release Blue wire. I tried PBR and the response I got was , "we have switches to rebuild the stack"
Its exhausting some times trying to explain what you're looking for with them when you arent allowed to send pics.
Basically, I'm look for someone in this forum to have these switches, the switches I have won't clean up and won't fire consistently no matter how much i file it , business card it, bend it or anything.
Thanks

Quoted from pinhead52:you need a 4x2 plug? shoot me $8.30 for shipping
Thanks! PM sent
Quoted from Murphdom:That guy posts on just about every state’s Craigslist and on Mr. Pinball. Some people have had luck with him. I have struck out way too many times for fairly common things so I gave up.
Bummer!!! Thanks for the heads up. Thought I found a gold mine :/
Quoted from pinhead52:I probably have these extra tall in slotted, not Phillips. pbr sells 1.5inch phillips washerhead Part number: HDW-WH-6X1.5
Description: Phil round washer head steel wood screw nickel 6 x 1-1/2
Thanks for the part number. I’ll try these, it looks like I won’t have many threads left to work with so if they don’t hold I’ll get back to you about the slotted ones.
Quoted from mrm_4:Anyone have an extra one of these in a parts bin?
[quoted image]
I know I can get a new one but I’d rather an original to keep the aged off white color to match the rest of the plastic on the game.
Comes from a Williams Starto Flite
That was fast. Already got a PM.
***Found!***
Quoted from pinhead52:And you dont like Steve at PBR?[quoted image]
Why would you say that? I love Steve. I just didn’t think to look for a new one…
Just wondering if someone had an extra original
And you don’t like seeing people help each other?
Quoted from pinhead52:for parts readily available I will go the usual places. For stuff I cant find then I come here. Generally I see/view Im imposing on people to go scavenge thru their parts bin
I don’t know where this is coming from man, I’ve bought parts from you before. If you want to view me as a scavenger then that’s fine. I’d still rather throw money your way for some coil that you’ll never use and make connections with people on this site before I put an order together with the parts sites.
Quoted from Drain1:I have a crap load of them, pm me your address.
Bob/Drain1, in Vermont
PM Sent thank you sir!
Wasn’t sure where to post this so I figured this thread made some kind of sense.
As part of cleaning up a friends Bow and Arrow I made him new spinner decals.
I think they turned out great. I made an extra set just in case I messed up trimming them.
If anyone wants this set for a Bally spinner PM me I’ll drop them in the mail for you.

Decals are on the way to GraniteStatePin
Looking for 4 of these switch covers for a couple games I’m restoring. Jimmy at PBR confirmed they don’t have these.
Looking for old originals if anyone has some?
Part 3B-7233 Williams Credit Switch Cover
I know someone is making new ones for $25 a piece but come on…
Anyone know if these tiny nylon washers for spinners can be bought? I’d like to have about a dozen or so on hand. I’m sure they’re on Amazon or can be found in a mom and pop hardware store. I just don’t know what to call them except “tiny nylon washers”

scroll down just a bit. I think I've gotten them from Marco or pinballlife before as well.
Quoted from JethroP:The Pinball Resource sells them.
Thanks guys!
Quoted from Jets_1479:Hello, looking for a matching set of 2 1” green posts for the EM era. Attaching a picture of the post design but in blue for reference. Game is gaucho. Would also need 2 screws for the posts. Thanks!

This what you need?
PM your info and I’ll send them out.
Quoted from vec-tor:See if K&S metals has brass/copper rods.
If it’s just copper then I guess the bare ground wire from a 12 gauge roll will work. Never mind guys this looks pretty nice!

Yep that’s it! I ended up just making the 3 pictured above but good to know that Marco has them for future reference.

Where to buy them? Thx!

IMG_8167 (resized).pngAsking the group again, in case any of you parts masters can help me out?
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/looking-for-red-diamond-bumpers-and-caps
Quoted from Murphdom:I did see some diamond ones at Mayfair’s booth last week at the show I went to. I couldn’t tell you for the life of me what color they were though lol. I will certainly remember to check for you again in a couple weeks at the next show. I would also ask the woodrail group on Facebook. There’s a few guys on there who 3D print parts too
I appreciate the lead, I deleted Facebook in 2016 so I miss out on those groups. Its a shame this site isnt used instead by those guys.
Looking for a Williams Transformer 15-A-6771
I have one in my Space Mission that is getting blistering hot after it is on a few hours. Never felt a transformer this hot before, would like to get another one and see if I have the same problem. I suspect something is going bad with one of the windings internally...
Quoted from Mthomasslo:"Looking for a Williams Transformer 15-A-6771"
Before investing in a replacement, you may want to test the existing one. Unless it smells like it it has over heated, it may be fine and something else in the game is overloading it. However, if there even a single shorted winding it does need to be replaced, and this test will expose that, without any sophisticated equipment.
I've posted before...
It does not need to be removed from the cabinet as long as all of the fuses are removed.
An old trick that’s very effective is to connect the primary (only need to use one of them on transformers with multiple primary windings i.e. 120/240) with a 100 watt 120 volt incandescent light bulb in series with the primary. As long as nothing is connected to any of the windings, the lamp should be completely dark (or close to it). So much as one shorted turn on any winding will cause some amount of illumination of the bulb. If the lamp is dark, you can meter each of the secondary windings (and the other primary, if present) for the correct voltages and to check for opens. This procedure also helps with safety as the current drawn by a shorted or defective transformer will be limited by the hot bulb to less than 1A avoiding fireworks and eliminating the need to fuse the test.
I want to try this but my understanding of what you are saying is about as advanced as a 4th grader's.
The transformer currently has no smell but gets extremely hot as appears to be "sweating" moisture out of the top. If I leave my finger on it for more than 2 seconds I'll get a blister.
To do your test are you saying unsolder the 6V, Common, and the 24V on the top and leave the bottom C and 115V attached then alligator clip something to a household light socket with a 100W bulb?
I might need illustrations or something, Im more visual with this kind of stuff when Im not 100% understanding.
Im a moron and not afraid to admit it
Quoted from pinhead52:just pull the fuses on the 6v and 24v side. on the 110volt side replace the fuse with an incandescent light bulb. ie the bulb inline with the the primary windings
Quoted from Mthomasslo:Exactly
Also, if you just remove the 6 and 24v fuses and then turn the game on, does the transformer get warm or hot? If so, it's toast. The 120V fuse probably should have "blown" by now, I wonder if it's been replaced with a higher rating
I appreciate the help guys. I went through the game 1000% it’s fused properly. I just don’t know how to troubleshoot a transformer, never did it before. That’ll be a false statement later tonight tho. I’ll pop fuses out and see if it heats up still. And dig around for a 100w incandescent. Every bulb I’m finding in my house is LED.
Already have a lead on a replacement transformer.

Quoted from o-din:I probably have a couple of Williams 24 volt transformers as well. Never had a use except for one guy that almost burned down his house because he didn't know what he was doing.
Reminded me of that Cops show where the dude was working on his VW bus in his friends carport before it torched everything.
I’m glad you’re back O-din, if this transformer is bad and the other one doesn’t pan out I’ll hit you up!
Unless I burn my house down in the meantime because I don’t know what I’m doing
Quoted from bonzo71:I prefer to avoid pbr
How is that possible when you own 30 EMs?!!!
