Quoted from Fytr:I'm looking for a rear cover for a mid-70's Gottlieb wedge head lightbox (Abra Ca Dabra). Are these generally available anywhere?
Localish would be preferred due to shipping costs. I will be at the YegPin show in Edmonton in early May as well.
Anyone have a Williams knocker and bell assembly (both are on same plug) for a late 60's or early 70's pin?
Started to evaluate a machine I picked up this week and it looks like it was raped for parts. Can't blame the seller as I think he was unaware of the missing parts, still tempted to drive back and drop it off at his doorstep. I'm just a touch bent.
Several other smaller pieces missing as well. God knows what I'll find missing next
Added over 7 years ago: All set on bell and pop bumper parts! Still need a knocker and 4 pin jones plug.
Quoted from Otaku:Always looking for ORIGINAL Gottlieb 1967-1975 coin entry plates (with original stickers) in perfect/very nice condition, not interest in rougher or faded ones at all. Looking for nice unfaded examples. NOS (in nice shape) works too, repro does not. Thanks! This is more of a constant ad than a "I need this for one game" type of ad.
2 nickels 1 play (Brown)
10c 1 play (Red)
25c 2 plays (Blue)
25c 3 plays (Blue)
Not as interested in but may still consider for cheap:
25c 1 play (Blue)
Special rarer 25c entry sticker (Red background, black text)
Black on white stickers
I may have some NOS stickers, I'll look today.
I have a '73 Gottlieb Pro-Football I'm going to be parting out if you are looking for parts, the wedge head unit is actually very nice with one or two chips out if it.
Quoted from SadSack:I have it, but the playfield is complete otherwise so I'm not really wanting to strip the part. Do you want a whole playfield? http://pinballmd.com/1968-gottlieb-domino-wedgehead-pinball-playfield-detailed-photos/
No, my playfield is pretty immaculate aside from one tiny spot and the plastics will be available through Pinball Rescue shortly if I'm inclined to wait another month.
I really don't wish to purchase a whole set for one piece.
Quoted from monsonb:I'm looking for a score reel coil stop for a Williams Zig Zag (1964). I'll buy an entire score reel if that's the only way I can get a decent coil stop. Thanks.
http://www.marcospecialties.com/control/keywordsearch?SEARCH_STRING=williams+coil+stop
Quoted from monsonb:Good idea! I checked PBR and eBay, but I forgot about checking Marco. I'm curious, do you think the Marco online catalog flipped their image? This picture shows the exact opposite of what I need.
You would have to touch base with them.
FYI you could always simply grind out the current coil stop and bolt in this Gottlieb unit for $4
Quoted from spinal:Where is the best place to order a new set of EM drop targets in general? (to start with for Sky Jump). Thanks.
Quoted from DropTarget:Looking for a trashed Wedgehead BG
I have a Domino that is fairly beat, will that do? I'm actually driving through NJ next weekend.
Quoted from hwyhed:I’m still looking for a back glass for a Gottlieb Royal Guard..doesn’t have to be mint..can’t find anyone that makes/reproduces them either..
Quoted from hwyhed:Shout out to gdonovan..a big thanks again for straight up communication, sealing the back glass, and even sending back a few bucks on the quote for shipping. You’re honesty is appreciated...this bg is so much better then my existing 1...
Thank you for the kind words, the new glass should touch up well too if you are so inclined. The nice thing about being sealed is you can always wipe it off if you don't like how it came out while still wet of course.
I'll take a few weeks to do glass touchup, need to be in the mood and it takes some patience.
Quoted from Grayman_EM:Looks great, I always wondered about touchup on the backglass.
There is an article over on Clay's site which is why I started dabbling (pun intended)
It takes a lot of patience. Color matching can be a PITA. Experimenting with different light bulbs helps too.
Results of Grand Tour below.
Quoted from 4Max:Excellent, thanks, gents. I’ll PM Boilerman and if no joy I’ll drop you a line, Ph52. Happy New Year!
I have ten used from Night Rider which I think is the same if you have an issue or anyone needs one.
Quoted from EM-PINMAN:Once you get some good scans of the original Bally Amigo chicken images you should email them over to Pinball Rescue as they will make the decals for other folks. I did that for them with a Sonic Prospector. They won't have an issue with the Bally/Williams trademark as there is no brand name or trade mark on the spinner image.
Two versions of the red here, I'm working on the blue image now. Give me about 1/2 hour.
cropped down the provided image above, adjusted perspective and color corrected
Quoted from Playdium:Aren't all of those parts available here.
http://www.pbresource.com/relay-GTB.html#gtb-as
Parts I need are out of stock
Quoted from pinhead52:I need a set of siderails to a 1964 Bally Grand Tour
https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=1081&picno=63380&zoom=1
These are distinguished by a little notch where it wraps around the head collar and at the flipper button area they have a curved concave lip. Restoring a game for a buddy and his is really pitted. Also need the metal pf glass glides use on this game.
Thanks
Ken
I have a Magic Circle cabinet with the rails still, same perhaps? Looks like it but you might have a better eye for what you are looking for.
Quoted from Ballypin:PM sent. Looking for the trim pieces that the top of the PF glass slides into.
Sorry it was missing. I'm hoping for some free time in the next week to get the cabinet down and get the rails off for the other pinsider.
Anyone have a Gottlieb Coin/Front Door Strike Plate? GTB-B8089A
I can get a new one from PBR for $19 but it will stand out compared to the other hardware. LMK
Quoted from PantherCityPins:Gottlieb Flipper Parade
I might have some used ones from a double action
Quoted from pinhead52:Adding to that I need a Capt Card backglass (Star Trek not EM tisck tisck)
Haaaaaa! I realized that this morning when I woke up.
Quoted from DCRand:Found this plate broken in the match unit on Space Mission. Anyone have or know where I can get a replacement?[quoted image][quoted image]
Mine broke the same way, welded it up with my mig. Just a quick spot or two will do the trick. Remove the plastic pawl before welding of course.
Quoted from illawarra92:wanted gottlieb gondolier backglass from 1958[quoted image]
Pity this one is not so good.
Quoted from pinhead52:Does anybody have any Bally 70's kickers? Marco is out of stock[quoted image]
I just purchased the last two "heads" from PBR last month. Someone did mention there was a metal arm assembly that can be substituted.
Quoted from robertmee:I just took a kicker off an SI....looks similar, but dont have it in front of me. Are they the same? Also have a bally Night rider SS . Dont know if they kept the same kicker.
I can confirm Night Rider EM and Star Trek are the same
Quoted from pinhead52:I have a bargain basement GTB chime unit, $20 plus shipping if anybody gotta have, all three bars are there, have not tested the 3 coils
PM sent sir!
I have an older Bally credit reel, close enough to adapt perhaps? I think they used a common frame. Take a picture when I get home if you like.
Quoted from jasonspoint28:Hey guys and gals, I’m looking for a set of Fast/Quick Draw plastics that are in “usable” condition-don’t have to be anything special. I’m just looking for parts to add some flair to my dartboard cabinet. Thanks.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
That is awesome!
Quoted from Pin-up:Anyone know what voltage a 22-500 coil runs on? Common coil for the gun recoil on Twin Rifle and Twin Skeet Shoot. Looks to be the same physical size as the J-501 I need for the Davy Crockett games, just don't know if the 22-500 is a 100V coil as well....
Off the top of my head, I'm going to say 24-27 volt. I'm flipping through some EM manuals now to double check.
On Williams EM applications it is 24-27 volts.
This page might have information that you can use: https://www.pinballmedic.net/coilchart.html
There are some reset bank coils that are 110v if memory serves me right on my Bally's.
Quoted from vec-tor:I had a guy cut new tabs and weld them on to the main bracket.
I would have ground them out and welded in threaded rod and done away with the goofy cotter pin setup.
Terrible penny pinching by Williams.
Quoted from undrdog:So, those are for color, not protection? (No clear at PBR)
Correct, I seem to recall my Heat Wave had both yellow and red sleeves.
Quoted from jeffc:Looking for a used GTB pop bumper body with red concentric circles like pictured below. Would rather not buy a new one so that I can match it to the other used bodies I’m keeping on the game.
Thanks. [quoted image]
I'll look today, have several used pieces
