Quoted from Dono:

Seeking the double award dome light cover as used on 4 diffferent woodrails (I know, good luck)

DonO,

I might be able to help. I'm the guy casting the bank-a-ball animation balls for PBResource. If you can get me one of those dome covers I can cast it and make it available to Steve Young. I would be able get it back to you unharmed (unless it is a 2 part piece .. don't think it is) and get you a free copy for giving me the sample.

Need a 1-1/8" diameter translucent white rollover insert for a 1961 Williams Space Ship.
Useable used condition is all I'm looking for. Anyone have a Williams parts playfield with one of these?
image.jpg image.jpg

RolloverInsert.jpgRolloverInsert.jpg

I searched my parts bin and found 2 off a 59 Gottlieb Seven Seas rollover inserts. I'm guessing these are the same as the Williams. This is a perfect candidate for epoxy resin casting. 3D printers would not handle translucency properly and would leave an unattractive ring pattern. I produce those BaB animation balls and I'll take a stab at these.

I'll keep updates coming ..

Quoted from canoncitypb:

It is for an old Gottlieb Target Alpha, but I see them on many other games like Firepower. It screws into the cabinet just above playfield at the back. When the glass slides in it rests on top of it at the back of the playfield. It seems so common I would think someone has to make one.
Does anyone at least know what to call it so I can look it up on ebay or something?
thanks,
Aaron

I have this one. Top side is good but bottom has some rust

Quoted from wiredoug:

hows progress mikeV ? its been a while

I have molds done and producing raw ball halves. Steve has approved the one assembled one I sent him. It turns out the stripe layout is different on the two pool themed machines that use them. I won't have the bandwidth to assemble/paint/number the pool balls. I've given him wholesale prices on game specific packages that would include paint masks and details. I also gave him prices for the simplier balls on the other machines as package deals as well. Steve hasn't moved forward with them yet.

Quoted from Otaku:

I need a complete relay (with coil, standard 30 volts based) that has at least two (or three if possible to be safe) normally-open switches on it, the rest don't matter if present. Any manufacturer is fine but Williams would be preferred. This will only be a relay that is used momentarily so a special coil version (for long activations) is not needed.
This is not for me but for a new friend, I am going to help him rebuild and redesign a terrible system in his game as my final touch on the game on the morning of Pinfest just in time for the tournament. Please help out if you can, thanks! Willing to have it shipped, I'd pickup at the show but I think it would have to be really early Friday morning and there's a bit much on the line. So, shipping definitely preferred.

Does this meet your needs?

Weeze,
There's a current eBay auction offering 3 complete Gottlieb coin chutes, each in nice condition, for $20 each (buy-it-now), plus $4 shipping. The auction is entitled: "Gottlieb em pinball machine coin chute coin door B-10708 B-10707 both parts." The seller, in Michigan, has a perfect feedback rating. Good luck!

Those are the later internal versions that are quite common and less sought after.

The hard to get ones are the earliest that stick out and have a rounded end. The other kind also stick out and has an angle to it that is more common. Which kind is needed here?

Quoted from robertmee:

Need some advice from the EM guys/gals. I have about 15 populated PF's left, many EM's of WMS and Gottlieb. Shipping the entire PF with parts is too problematic, but I'm thinking about stripping them, and selling the parts separate. For EM part value, what's the best way to remove parts, since many of the roto's, steppers, coils, etc are soldered to the harness. Cut them at the solder point? Does the harness have any value? I've seen some wanted ads for jones plugs, and at least one person has expressed interest to me in the cloth wiring, so best way to preserve their usefulness? I don't want to get strictly in the parts business, selling a single piece here and there. I'd prefer to just box up the major parts and say "here", all the parts for an XYZ game. Realizing I'd get less value, but less time consuming and shipping.

I sell a bunch of parts on ebay under ‘mevoriginals’. Here is my advice:

Sell in bulk as you mentioned otherwise you’ll be at this half your life. Sell by part type not machine bundles

1) Cut steppers off but leave a 1/2 inch of wire so folks can see what color wires was connected. Price $20-$25 each. Williams are the least desirable

2) For very large relay banks I remove all relays springs and such. Combine parts with another and sell in bulk for $20

3) for individual relays assemblies figure $20 bulk of 10 per brand

4) Gather all male/female Jones plugs for $20 in bulk of 10/10

5) Rototargets go for around $75

6) Flipper assembly pairs go for $20-$30. Gottlieb and solid state best

7) Pops assemblies go for $20-$30 for 2-3 depending on condition

playfield posts - I sell combined from 3 playfields for $20 unless they are the older marble style or the metal ones $30-$40 for those in bulk

9) Stand up targets I usually sell 12-15 for $20

10) Switches: one box from 5 playfields for $20 if you want to go through the effort

Aprons: $15-$50 depending on apron. Most are a hard sell even at $15

Plastics sets : some have no value others go for $50 plus. If you can flatten them correctly they will sell for more. Best sellers are slings which go for $25 and ones that are near drop targets

Lane guides: 30 or so for $20

Good luck! Prepare to spend a weekend plus stripping them all. Get free boxes from the post office online (love there 7x7x6 box .. most items in bulk except plastics/aprons I described above fit in there .. the larger in medium flat rate boxes). They stack to the ceiling so it will be easy to store all the stuff until it sells

Looking for a coin door to an early 60s/late 50s Williams machine. Here is the one have. I could probably repaint this but the coin mech holders are rusted solid to the door and can’t get them off without destroying them. If you only have the coin mech holders or a really bent door but not rusty I’d be interested in that too

Anyone have the number 15 ball for Bank-a-Ball/ Flipper Pool? Yes I know PBR makes them but I figured I would throw it out here first because I’m sure his are much more white then my originals.
[quoted image]

Another way to fix these is to slide some cut to shape plastic from another dead ball and melt the pieces together around the rivets using a small tipped soldering iron

FYI: Actually the balls Steve has are a slight bit off white and often match well. 1 and 15 are indeed the best selling but surprisingly 2 doesn’t sell very well but 3 are in demand

Do any of the vendors sell the steel hex nuts for plastics that have the colored plastic top.
On Olympics, the plastics are held in place by a steel # 6 nut that looks like a nylon lock nut. The hole at the top is closed up by plastic and on this game, the plastic "filler" is yellow.
I have one that is missing.

I’ll PM you with my info. Thanks!

Yes it goes on reasonably well ..

Quoted from buckeyesrewind:

Does anyone happen to have an extra of this bumper switch for an early Gottlieb? PBR may have one, or only the wire part, but Steve was doubtful. If I can’t find one, could I use a wire and solder a washer on the end to mimic the function? Thanks![quoted image][quoted image]

I have this one:

Quoted from tfduda:

Don't have any like that. Good luck!

Like this one? It's intact. Send me a pm if so.

I can make exact copies of these in epoxy resin. I can even include the Bakelite swirls. I can match most any common color .. off-white to match the original white .. others I’d be close. See sample pic

$20 each for solid color or $30 each with the Bakelite swirls included

Quoted from CaffeineSlug:

Looking for the ball return cam for Gottlieb Drop-A-Card (or similar games), the part number is A-10945. It looks like PBR used to have these, but when I asked a few weeks ago they were unavailable.[quoted image]

I’ve got this one:
