Looking for a knocker that would be the right one for a Williams 4 Roses. It uses an A-2-23 750 coil and is the type that would have two female plugs on it. The holes for the two screws in the bracket are about 4 1/4 inches apart. Hoping someone has one of these that I could buy. TIA

Looking for a double coin door for a '62 Williams 4 Roses. Many doors of this period will work but am specifically looking for a two chute door that isn't bent up and has all components AND wiring to coin mechs (or where coin mechs would go) intact and also has the 4 prong jones plug attached.

Light surface rust okay. TIA

#899 9 years ago
Quoted from AlexF:

There is one for a soccer on Ebay but it's been painted so it's hard to tell what's hiding underneath. Even so, these are stainless aren't they? You'd think it may clean up.

Yeah, I saw that and even talked to the guy about it.... but it's a little 'too' rusty, crusty.

And I don't mind a little surface rust either... but thanks, buddy.

Trying to find a ten cent coin entry plate for a sixties Williams coin door.

#1331 8 years ago
Quoted from SteveinTexas:

Do you mean these and if so which one?

Early_Williams_coin_plates.jpg

Yes, Steve... those are the type.

I would like to get that embossed red ten cent plate.

Let me know what you want for it, okay? Sure do appreciate it!

And would take the other red one too (if you could spare it, of course) because of the number of these sixties Williams I have. Sounds like someone 'else'... might possibly have an interest in the black one?? : )

Quoted from TaylorVA:

if you part this out please lmk. I need a left slingshot plastic. Thanks.

Part it OUT!?!?

OKAY... so the thing has a little insert wear... let's not get crazy.

Mike, let me know if you can't come up with this part because I have one off of a Ten Spot but unfortunately, the ring underneath where the rollover button rests is partially missing.

You could probably repair it with some plastic cut to fit and some Loctite super glue.

Need some or a set of good yellow, red and mauve posts for a 1964 Williams Palooka.

Bruce, pretty sure I've got some of these... PM me with your number and I'll give you a ring.

Quoted from CactusJack:

Just upgrade to the nice Chrome one. Same part. Williams just cheapened out for a couple of years there in the 70's. Went back to metal since the plastic ones would break.

In my mind they did this pretty much throughout, at least during the EM period.

Remember Harry Williams' motto: "There is no substitute for undercutting Gottlieb".

Sorry, had a weak moment... I'm okay now.

#1748 8 years ago
Quoted from RyanClaytor:

Hilarious.
You have to be a speshul sort of rabbit-hole dweller to appreciate this post.
Post appreciator,
Ryan

Thank you for that, Ryan... sweet of you to say.

For posts I make like this, if I made even one person laugh, it will have been worth it to me.

#1752 8 years ago
Quoted from RyanClaytor:

We're making' it happen.

Not only did it make me laugh out loud, but I forwarded your post to another young (we're both in our 30's) EM interested buddy o' mine, and it brightened both our days.

Well, now see... you've brightened 'my' day now.

Not because you thought my post was funny... I am glad for that. But something even more important to me, that young folks like yourselves are into or 'getting' into these great EMs. I want to see these games I love so much... live on and be enjoyed loooong after I'm gone.

Tell all your 'young' friends... Pinball:

Looking for this 'steel' flipper bushing and associated parts from a Gottlieb woodrail. From what I've been told, Gottlieb used brass, then steel and then went on to the common 'nylon' flipper bushings.

Flipper bushing (resized).JPGFlipper bushing (resized).JPG

#2805 7 years ago
Quoted from boilerman:

i believe i have a set of those. i will look and let you know
i do think my set is brass if that matters

Hopefully, the one (ones) you have are steel, because they are a different size than the brass and so the hole size in the playfield is different. Will keep fingers crossed.

#2807 7 years ago
Quoted from boilerman:

i am pretty sure they are brass but i will pull them out in the morning

Appreciate it, boilerman.

#2813 7 years ago
Quoted from boilerman:

Glen they are brass, i did not know the steel and brass were different? but i am not a woodrail guy.

Okay, looking for a steel one to match the other and to fit correctly.

But thanks so much, Dave for helping me... on other parts in the past and in this case, 'trying' to help me.

Fried squirrel... one of my all-time favorites!

#2851 7 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

Served up with a little possum stew.

Hmmmm, I don't know about possum stew.

But I 'can' tell you... fried squirrel is surprisingly good, way better than rabbit or young raccoon.

And I guess while I'm at it.... elk over deer anytime.

This is important and relevant information to the pinball community. : )

#2855 7 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

You're welcome to come by and hunt all the squirrel you like.

I'm sure all your neighbors would love that!

#2863 7 years ago
Quoted from polyacanthus:

Does anyone reproduce 60s Williams rollover button inserts? I thought I had seen a discussion about someone wanting to produce some about a year ago maybe. Or if anyone has a good used one laying around. Mine has shrunken about 1/8"!

If it was chipped, cracked or broken, okay... but it isn't.

Just reglue the thing and call it macaroni.

Looking for a Gottlieb woodrail front door.

The older type without the hinge that can be removed when unlocked.

I don't need any of the internal parts, just the wooden door itself.

It's for a '53 Marble Queen.

#3255 6 years ago
Quoted from waltrr:

Steve Young should have them. That's where I get mine, but it's been a while since I've purchased any. Part #C3655
Good luck

Steve is out of this type and has no plans (at this time) to do them again.

Looking for three correct lane guides on a '63 Gottlieb Sweet Hearts.

I need 'two' double-sided lane guides that are 2 1/2 inches (center to center on the screw holes)

And 'one' single-sided lane guide that is 1 1/2 inches (center to center on the screw holes)

These would be the type without the diamond on top.

#3954 6 years ago
Quoted from pinhead52:

And you dont want pbr new? Ive got 2 2 1/2 old and 1 of the 1 1/2 but its new..

No, don't like buying plastics from pbr.

Getting late now where you are, will contact you tomorrow.

Thanks!

Still crawling around on my hands and knees trying to find a few rollover guides for my Sweet Hearts.

I need two: Double-sided lane guides... 2 1/2 inches center to center on the screw holes.

And one: Single-sided lane guide... 1 1/2 inch center to center on the screw holes.

These would be the older type without the diamond on top. (white)

TIA

#4072 6 years ago
Quoted from pinhead52:

I can source you a 1 1/2 guide, Im redoing a Ks&Qs and have replaced with the lilly white from pbr

Thank you, pinhead52!

That should do it for the 1 1/2 inch lane guides I am looking for... now if I can only find those silly 2 1/2 inch guides.

They seem to be elusive but maybe I can have some 3D printed if all else fails, looking into it with the help of way2wyrd.

This is something that is long overdue... but I wanted to say 'thank you' to boilerman on this public site for all the parts and help he has given me over time. And for all the other people he has done the same. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this but that's okay, it couldn't be done enough. He is an asset to this hobby... and just people in general.

#4174 5 years ago
Quoted from boilerman:

thanks Glen, but you know i don't do it for the accolades, i enjoy helping other when i can. It isn't about the $$$ it is about the great EM hobby and the great people in it.

Ironic, but that's exactly why I said what I said.

And nobody would have to convince me of that... as I know having tried in vain to offer you money for parts, shipping, etc.

(still wish you'd accept)

However... I guess I'll have to keep my compliments to MYSELF. Ha!

But for as many 'shitheads' there are in this hobby... you sure make it difficult.

And stand out like a shining star. Okay... I'm done.

Looking for a Coil Housing (B-16192) and a Bracket & Stop (A-17197)

Part is from a '76 GTB Pioneer stepper unit.

This bracket has a coil stop that can be removed by a screw.

Apologies for the poor picture.

Looking for the two flipper looking lane guides that are at the top of the playfield on a Central Park. I guess while I'm at it... also looking for the top ball arch with a good green manufacturer's certificate. They're usually so faded you can't read them anyway, so will likely work. Incidentally, the ball arch itself was damaged by a previous route operator. TIA

#6317 3 years ago
Quoted from pinhead52:

you can reprint the certs. pbr has the flipper lane guide
[quoted image]

Thanks, pinhead 52... I just thought I could kill two birds with one stone because the arch was damaged, I still have some of those manufacture's certificates that leckmeck was kind enough to make for me on another game.

And as far as those lane guides from pbr... I bought a couple but didn't really care for them, they have some issues.

Still looking for 2 white 'flipper looking' lane guides.

Used on games such as Central Park and Hurdy Gurdy.

#6858 3 years ago
Quoted from rlbohon3:

Pinball Resource has these (P/N A857W). I restored a Central Park earlier this year and that's what I used as the upper ball guides. Only thing you'll need to do is trim out the inner plastic "ribs" with a dremel. [quoted image]

Yes, I know... I bought a set.

Not what I'm looking for... but thank you for responding.

#6870 3 years ago
Quoted from MikeO:

So what are you looking for, Glen?
Do you have a picture you can share with us?

The two top rollover lane guides used on Central Park & Hurdy Gurdy.

Don't have a picture but they look like two inch flippers but don't say "flipper" on them.

Looking for used 'original' but would gladly take NOS parts.

I think I'd be fooling myself looking for those though, since I can't seem to even find 'used'

#6873 3 years ago
Quoted from MikeO:

Are you looking for round top or flat top?

Round top

#6874 3 years ago

Are there even such things as flat top lane guides?

Never seen one.

#6879 3 years ago
Quoted from aahgo:

I have two from a Hurdy Gurdy PF that I bought for parts. Unfortunately they are not in great shape. They both have cracks/crazing that look like they were over heated. Yours, if you want them.

Looking for the left slingshot plastic on a '64 Williams River Boat.

I have one but it's warped out of its mind.

And before I get more aggressive with it, I'd like to have a backup plan (I'm afraid of ruining it)

It would be different if someone has reproduced these plastics... if they have, I sure couldn't find it.

And I would buy the whole set if anybody happened to have them and didn't want to break them up, perfectly understandable.

I don't think my chances are very good after talking to a couple people, just not enough demand.

Looking for a dead bumper skirt, the color used on Ice Revue. It's white but not the typical white you would get from PBR. The best way I can describe the color, is how low fat milk looks... kind of like someone added water to it.

The sad part is... MikeO 'gave' me a complete set some time back... 'including' the dead bumper skirt!

Think I can find it now that I need it?? Heeeell NO... and I've looked high and low around here but just don't know what I DID with them. I sure didn't throw them out. Grrrrr!

But the good news is, I 'do' have extra pop bumper skirts in that color, if anyone has a chipped skirt and needs one.

#8101 2 years ago
Quoted from pinhead52:

Found 6 6hole "ghost white" skirts... close

Ghost white... that's a good way to put it.

They 'are' semi-transparent, aren't they?

Well..... sounds like anybody looking for the ghost white 'pop bumper' skirts will be in luck anyway.
