Anyone have a credit unit for a Bally Monte Carlo? I picked one up and it looks like the operator didn't want anyone routing it and removed the coin unit.

This is the 1973 version.

#4602 8 months ago
Quoted from mrm_4:

As for the bulb it fits in an 89 socket but is WAY brighter than an 89. Has “63” on the side.

Nice reproduction.

Just to compare bulbs:
63: 7.0 Volts, 0.63, Amps, 4.41 Watts
87: 6.8 Volts, 1.91 Amps, 12.988 Watts
1127: 6.4 Volts, 2.63 Amp, 16.832 Watt

So your reproduction may be just fine with a brighter bulb. Try auto parts stores if you just want one or two.
Also, I'm assuming there's still a lens in the projection unit somewhere. That would make a difference too.

Bally MiniZag.....Any good? I'm looking at getting one on the cheap. No backglass. Really nice playfield.

Quoted from mrm_4:

Heres what i did with a water slide decal but the light doesnt shine through bright enough.
[quoted image][quoted image]

Is there a way to position a tube between the lamp and the backside of the credit display? That might help focus the light more on the credit display.

Its funny you asked that because i was trying that route. I wasnt seeing a difference. Went to autozone and got a few different bulbs but the 63 still shines the brightest. Only have 5.5 volts to work with. I wanted to try using a super bright LED flasher but i dont think its got enough voltage in the socket. Still tinkering. I mean it looks good with the lights off but i really want to get this to be able to compete with the rest of scores in the backbox. My next idea is a different colored bulb so the number isnt white. Might see it better with a red number on a white screen instead of white on white.

If you can find an LED that will operate on the same voltage it will work fine. LEDs take notably less current to run and shine notably brighter so you should have no issue.

Looking for a coin door for a 1950 Gottlieb Select-A-Card. Any help is appreciated.

#4608 8 months ago

Looking for an instruction card for a Gottlieb Wild Wild West (or a good scan).

#4612 8 months ago
Quoted from ejacques:

Awesome! Thanks!

You're welcome. For older games I recommend printing on "parchment" paper from Office Depot. Probably available from any office supply store, but I but mine at Office Depot. The "parchment" paper is off white, has that aged look. Costs 10 cents a sheet. Of course, if you want that bright, white look any old printer paper will do, but the parchment looks more authentic.

need a 24v game counter. Then new ones I find are 12v dc, no good

looking for a circa 1948 gottlieb plunger with the red (bakelite?) end.
red plunger needs to be complete.

Bought the beehive housing repro from PBR, for my Spot Bowler, not sure if he would have the plunger.

Where would a 24v version come from? I assume not a Gottlieb game or you wouldn’t be asking.

standard gottlieb, need a 5 digit for a Buckaroo

Thanks for the tip. Sadly those cards are for Gottlieb Wild West, not Gottlieb Wild Wild West (woodrail vs. later 60's game). The hunt continues!

The format for Wild Wild West instruction cards are the same as other Gottlieb's of that era, for example, Surf Side. Go to the link above, pinballrebel, and search Surf Side. There you will find the instruction cards in an editable WORD document. You can make the the few changes required for your game. I like to print on parchment paper for best looks. Hope this helps.

For restoring a Williams Strato-Flite I am looking for the description labels of the 10, 100, 1000 point relay. Could anyone confirm the text of the 10, 100, 1000 point relay on the image and missing numbers of labels? I know the text of the first 3 is correct because i still have the original.

you should have two eyelets like that. they get mounted to the inside wall of the face of the cab between hinge and tilt board. Two leads come off of the coin assembly and are paired up with leads off of the harness. Standard "small" mount screws are used to hold the pair of eyelets together.

added a pic from my atlantis

I do not understand... you have two leads hanging off the harness? Look for two "pvc" coated leads coming from the coin plate area... attach as shown in the pic

WOW....not sure what your deal is...who you think YOU are...or WHO you think I am (fake account??? Only ever had one. And been involved in industry for around 25 years)...but ok.

Sorry free help wasn't fast enough and someone took a second to mention poor etiquette to you.

Still sincerely hope you get your problem resolved with your game.

Take care

Ohh...and as a follow up, since this is a parts seeking thread, not your personal repair thread, please move future inquiries to appropriate section should you need additional help
that will take away too much from thread topic.
Thank you

WOW...I'll tell you why it is so difficult to show you the first time. Your grammar sucks. Your spelling sucks. And your description of what you were seeking was unclear.
