Anyone happen to have a spare armature plate with the ratchet assembly for a mid-70s Williams match unit? The one on my Little Chief apparently broke off sometime in the past. A spare match unit would also do the job..

Thanks!

Does anyone have these two Gottlieb mechs? There are grooves worn into mine and they're now completely useless. The springs associated with them would also be amazing! Thanks!

Do you have a picture of what you are looking for? I have a GP head that has most of the parts still in it. Only appears to have been in a *small* fire.

could that groove be welded & ground back down to original condition ?

I'm guessing so. I tried calling around to some local welding shops before and got the runaround. Nobody really seemed interested in doing it.

I get all my welding needs taken care of by a privately owned muffler shop. May not be the prettiest work but it gets the job done. I usually pay him about 5X-10X what he actually asks for. He doesn't realize either how much he is saving me or that the item is NLA etc.

Here’s the match unit. Note the broken armature plate and missing ratchet pawl.

Now here is the Eject Advance unit. Same unit as the Match Unit. Note the armature plate with the ratchet pawl. That armature and pawl is apparently one assembly. That’s what I’m after, or a complete unit.

I have a spare ball in play unit with both pieces, PM me..

#4365 1 year ago

OK, was able to source the armature plate and a new spare shaft from John’s Jukes. Thanks for that tip!

Now, anyone have a spare of that small switch used on those units? John didn’t seem to have that part. Mine has broken off right at the insulator. I may be able to patch it but would prefer to replace it if I can.

Thanks!

Fill in the groove with JB Weld. If possible, sandwich the repair between sheet metal doubler plates, then file the profile back to original.

John if you could check. Even if I could fix the post with a sleeve I'd still have to get it rechromed. This style kicker is somewhat unique to SingAlong/Kings&Qs

Close, but different. If no luck elsewhere and you're able to do a little revamping,
you're welcome to have it, although it may work as is.. (T)

Someone wanted NOS King Pin/Pin Up drop targets a while back?

I bought these for $80! Came from an operator who retired.

Lining them up, one is slightly smaller - no idea why. Same part number.

Anyway $40 shipped anywhere, just pm.

As I recall, JB Weld has a tensile strength of 3,000 psi. I've used it for all kinds of repairs and have never had a failure. That being said, how it will hold up in the long run depends upon what and how you are making your repair.

I have a full set of Triple Strike plastics, they’re a bit “smoked”, but in good condition. I have no idea what they’re worth ?

Found this in the bottom of a Big Brave but did not look like it was from that pin. Looks to be a drop target reset. Not sure if anyone needs it or can identify it.

I know this is the place to post parts needed long shots, and this is an 80 year old long shot. Need help identifying and finding a replacement coil for a 1938 Chicago Coin Swing. Pics of the coil below. Have sent to PBR, and Don with Pinball Collectors Resource, but with no positive ID yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Is that for one of those "Gravity" delay relays? (looks kind of like a VUK plunger)

6 prong is easy if you have a hacksaw... just cut down a longer one to meet the needs. I can certainly cut one for you.

Good point, I would be happy with any Gottlieb jones plug with 6 or more prongs! I can handle the cut.

I am not certain the exact function yet. Haven't been able to get the game working. Additional pics attached.

Nope, sorry, that would be a stepper. Not a gravity delay relay.

Looks like you would have to read the voltage across the coil and see if you can find a bobbin size that would fit the frame. Otherwise, you might have to build a mounting bracket that would let you use a standard coil bobbin and sleeve, and a coil stop and coil retaining bracket (like cutting the end off a standard Sling Shot coil bracket and drill holes in it to mount it to the stepper unit). If the standard coil bobbin is too long, you might have to use a shorter one like found on many Bally steppers and relocated the mounting screw holes for the front coil retaining bracket. That's all assuming the stepper plunger is of a standard diameter.

But first, you have to start with what voltage its getting. standard coils would be either 24/28 Volts or 50V.

I have these two coils. Appear to never been used. Seem to be the same oddball style. Marked "P273".

On a separate note I need a Williams Knocker with coil A2-23-750.

Mark / Alex, you are rock stars. Pretty sure the 273 is the correct coil. Only way to know is to try it. Wish I could get them at the $1.25 each catalog price. LOL.

Alex, how much do you want for one of the coils? You can PM if you want. And it might be a good idea to at least check the length of the coils. Mine is 1 7/16" from outside bracket to bracket in length. The round end is 1" diameter. Sorry, don't have a knocker.

Thank you both.

Still need a mid 70's Bally 2 player metal back door, none have come up on eBay for the past 6 months.

Also need a Bally 70's Credit Unit adjustment metal pin (this limits the amount of credits on the nylon gear), mine is missing. Anyone know the hole measurement for it I will pick one up at a hardware store.

Finally I need a Bally 70's 3 prong Female Jones Plug for the coin adjustment jack.

Anyone got one or all of these just PM me with condition and price.

TIA

Ken
