Any Wade Krause unused KS&Qs pfs out there? Just used the pf I had set aside for my personal game for a customer restore... (It was a Mondail export game with plexi backglass so it was well worth it to see it restored)

Can someone with an unadulterated merry go round (Gottlieb 1960) has a painted or metal finis on the coin door? Restoring a repainted example and getting ready to add colors

I'm looking for some legs:

- 1 set for my 1968 Gottlieb "Paul Bunyan" (31" metal legs)

- 1 set for my 1940 Genco "Metro" (31" wood legs)

Not in a rush. If you're not local to Michigan, I'll be at the York Show in the fall and would be happy to avoid shipping if you're showing up there.

Thanks for your consideration,
Ryan

The Merry-Go-Round shown here, lot number 0023, has a non-painted door finish.

Thanks saw another with a yellow door and green trim. Looking for one more confirmation. I see no sign of paint on my original door or trim. Tend to think someone painted a rusty door somewhere along the way on the one that was painted. Thinking that one was repainted ( note the width of the white stripe on the front. Looks too wide. My original paint shows the stripes are about equal width as well as the flyer. The green is also supposed to reach the bottom of the cabinet

Not sure what you are looking for with respect to the metal leg? Something to sand down and re-paint? I have a LOT of legs that fall into this category.

With respect to the Wooden Legs - do you have even one to replicate? I have a big woodshop and this is something I've been considering for a few years.

Anyway, if you want to go behind enemy lines I can show you what I have. I might even be willing to fly my "house divided" flag for the visit.

I have this one you can have for free. Just need $3 for postage. It does differ though as the original image appears to have been black

Ha-ha! Love the invite. Hope to take you up on this. Busy this week, but expect a private message soon.

Mine is on 27" legs right now, but it's awfully low. I can't imagine those were stock.

Short legs on Gottliebs with the Newer Style "Recessed" coin door as they called it (aluminum frame around square SS door). Long legs on old style coin door (Coin Door, Strike Plate and coin entry plate mounted above the door on the cabinet). This is because the Recessed door required a deeper cabinet so they shortened the legs. I guess it would have looked funky if they had just moved the bolts up the cabinet. Think of all the cold rolled steel gottlieb saved over the years by shrinking their legs!!!

So, it sounds like Paul Bunyan is a 31"-legged game?

#4318 5 years ago

From Steve Young's The Pinball Resource Website:

Gottlieb® Mid-Late 50's 31'' Cream White Powder Coated

Gottlieb® 1956-1975 31'' Single Player Only -Painted usually to 1960
-( Legs used on Multi-Players games vary in length)

Gottlieb® 1976-1990 27'' Non-Ribbed

Gottlieb® 1990-1995 27'' or 31'' Check Game Manual

I guess it could be possible that Paul Bunyan being a 2 player might not have used 31" legs. BUT, if it sits too low, the 27" are the wrong ones. But I have never come across a late 60's or early 70's multiplayer that didn't also use the 31" legs. I am curious what the exceptions are?

#4319 5 years ago

Post 11 from DirtFlipper in the thread here makes sense.

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/gottlieb-leg-size-question#post-1342938

The lockbar on my PB is 36" high (Dirt says it should be around 38") which means I need the correct 31" legs too. I wonder if they got mixed up with the JITB legs. Edit: I see the JITB legs are also supposed to be 31", will just get the right ones for my game.

I need a 0-9 stepper for a GTB Ks&Qs

Similar to this but with different mounting.

1967 Bally SURFERS. I am seeking to buy any playfield plastics for this game. I especially need the plastic behind the upper flipper (as shown in the photo below). Mine has a couple of thumbnail sized imperfections around that flipper, as depicted.

Also, I seek original bumper caps for this game with little or no bulb burn. I know that PBR has repros.

Third, I wish to find an original rules card. Mine is missing the top half.

Last, there's an optional add-a-ball relay corresponding to this game, which I seek. Thanks!

Looking for a motor from a WMS Gusher or Sea Wolf. I need the motor for the disappearing pop bumper. Sent the one I had to PBR to be rebuilt. Repaired, but UPS has lost it! They may pay replacement cost, but I need to find one.
