Looking for a set of plastics for sittin' pretty - these are pretty toasty
[quoted image]

If while you're looking/waiting for better plastics you can always straighten them out by placing deformed plastics between two clean glass panes and putting in a preheated oven at about 200 - 225 degrees, maybe 10-12 mins. Of course, check on the plastic midway through to see progress and evaluate remaining time as needed. I've done that on several deformed A13 and Shrek plastics with excellent results. Doesn't help missing art but sure straightens/flattens plastic. If you try this, be sure to use caution and gloves when handling glass/plastic/glass package.

May or may not work. "Sittin' Pretty" is a later woodrail, but usually plastics from the woodrail games can't be successfully flattened. I guess it's worth a try, but I'd leave the center one alone.

Ive done many plastics this way, it works perfect! I go the lowest the over can go which is usually 175. I let it go for an hour then take them out, let them cool with the glass still on the plastics.

Looking for Bally KK Relay Ladder/Armature

Hey all I am working on a Harvest and noticed that the Thumper Control relay's Ladder is Broken/Half missing. Ballys Part no is L-248. Anyone got amny leads as to where i might go to find one? I have searched all the usual suspects, next move is to email PBR, thought i would also you all first. I attach a pic of unbroken unit taken out of another relay for reference, next to its armature..

Odd coil looking for a new home - Does anyone know what it is or even need it?

Hey again - I took this coil out of a CCM Casino i am working on - it had a lot of swapped out parts and hacks - including this "Phonographic 184-205" Coil.

Can not find reference to it anywhere. It measures at 13.5 Ohms.

Happy to pass it on to anyone that needs it...

If you can't find the part two other options might be 3D printing the ladder, or replacing the entire relay with a more modern and reliable version.

Thanks Mark - i was considering 3D printing as an option. If it was available to buy then i could just add it to an order but yes 100%
out of interest what would be an appropriate modern relay to replace it with? Ive never gone down that rd before..

Quoted from kamack:

I would determine how many switches of what type (normally open, normally closed, make/break, etc.) and contact size (small contact or large contact) you have on your existing relay. Then look for a used modern relay. If you want to match the coil number too check the schematics on IPDB for a few more contemporary games. Chances are the pop bumper relay from many (most?) games would be a drop in replacement.

Any options now for late 60's Williams 4" score reel plastic armature pawl (3B-7127) or armature and pawl assy (A-6295)? Marco had them years ago but now are discontinued. Anyone got a spare?

I'm thinking I might have the used pawl part in my parts bin, but I am out of town until this Sun afternoon. Can check when I return if you still need it by then. Lee

Added 16 months ago:

It turned out my Williams parts reels were 3" drum units from the early 70's that did not contain the 3B-7127 part. No help here.

I'm hoping for a used one that will fit in with the machine.

#9474 1 year ago

Hey guys, before I call PBR, does anyone know what part this missing rollover button would be and if there’s something compatible I could find as a replacement? I just bought this machine but haven’t picked it up yet but can get a measurement from the owner if that helps.

It a 1976 Sonic ‘Faces’. I know that Williams parts are compatible with Sonic machines for the most part but other than that I’m lost on this. Thanks for any help.

Pretty sure (95%) the orange rollover buttons PBR has will work. Of course you could call Steve at PBR and I'm sure he would know (99%). LOL!

Part # Transparent Orange
WLL-3A7263-8 - $2.10 ea.

Thanks Ken. That’s a big help and it’s 3/4” in diameter so that sounds right. Never owned a Sonic before so I got nervous.

I owned a Sonic Prospector, very fun game, It used the same large star rollovers as a Williams/Gottlieb in case you ever need those. Wish I still had the game, my buddy has it, but it is far far away, so I have not played it in years.

My only concern is the fact that the parts are usually metric.
I had to modify a regular pop bumper skirt to make the part work
in a Spanish pinball.

Great point. Hopefully the 3/4” rollover button from PBR will work and the good news is that the rest of this machine looks to be in really good shape, including the particle board cabinet.

Anyone have a roto target unit for a Gottlieb KOD? Or the card drop mech from the backbox?

#9482 1 year ago

Thank you for posting.
That’s the daisy version, KOD uses the carrousel. Not sure if they are same unit with just different hardware, but the mounting points on that unit look like it mounts 90 degrees and vertical not pancaked to playfield horizontally with a carrousel that exposes the targets vertically. Thanks for the tip, though.

Idk if Steve has these (brief search didn’t show any) but I’m in need of one of these leaf blades the rollover button plugs into.

This is for my playfield swap on Knock Out. Wades playfield accommodates this style and the original game has a standard blade.

Pictured is a different game of mine.

Looking for a pawl that drives the Match Unit ratchet wheel for 1976 Sonic ‘Faces’. Looks like the original one broke off. Not sure if a 1976 Williams would be compatible like from my Space Mission but I can check if I need to.

Thanks.
