Polishes up nicely. The leftmost part is orig chrome that was not very scratched . The center had a lot of wear & was hand polished.

Thanks for the pics. It looks like I’m missing several pieces.

Quoted from durriti:

Sometime the coin return chute has a flap that hangs blanking plate brackets, it covers most of the coin return semi circle hole in the front but over the years only two gottliebs out two dozen had the flap. The part isn't listed in the gottlieb in the 1966 or '68 catalogues.

The old baffle plate door.

A little pricey, but Marco has reproduction set available.

Did you try PBR? They sometimes have used original parts. A couple years back, they had a 7-target bar in house that I was able to purchase to restore a Hot Shot with a missing target bar mechanism.

I would cut a thin clear piece of polycarbonate and rest the OEM plastic on top of
said piece. I did it to Gottlieb's Royal Flush, and it worked out great.

Unfortunately that is the plastic that always breaks on that game. Singles of that plastic are currently unobtainium.

Looking for a Gtb metal red credit button or suggestions on how to stain the red back onto the button I have. This is for 1971 Drop a card.

Didn’t see it at PBR or Marcos.

Can you post a photo? PBR should have them, under the Cabinet Parts section, part number is Red #GTB-A3562A. You’ll need a c-clip to go with it.

Alberto, I think the number you gave is the metal flipper button. The replay button is GTB-4524A. I just happened to be putting together an order for a couple

You can always try making your own replacements, its a fun challenge. The graphic looks mostly intact so it would be a quick job to scan it and clean it up in a graphics program. Then print out onto decal paper, cut a replacement plastic and you are done! its not very hard to do.

Here are some pics of when I did the exact same thing on my Ice-Revue

Dave, you are 100% correct! The metal red flipper button is the part just above it. You’d think I know the part numbers by now as o did just order 4 of them.

Thanks,

When I got my top score I thought I was going to need some as well and someone directed me to some new ones but they were white. I ended up not needing any. I can't remember where they were for sale. According to Marco the part number is A-6931R, (for the red ones), or A-6931. The balls in "Soccer" are the same as well. Good luck.

I had the same exact issue with my White lightning gun, it's the weak spot where the roll pin goes in, if anyone ever hit it with a hammer to remove the pin, it's broken. Once you remove the pin, the gun body will be in 2 pieces. I had to have machine shop help me as it's pot metal and very, very hard to weld. You need an expert pot welder, JB weld will not work as the upper gun part (506-901) has to fit snug.
Get a roll pin remover for sure if you haven't already, do not hit this gun with a hammer for any reason!
This repair cost me $700 and I felt lucky to have found someone who could help as the first few shops I called laughed at me or quoted $10K!!
Parts for this machine are not available. I bought every last part out there that was available for this game, even bout the last original Decal and springs from Johns Jukes. You have to be dedicated to get one of these games going, not a lot of help/info out there.
There's pics of my gun before and after on the White lightning thread.

I asked, because I simply thought you said Gottlieb instead of exhibit by mistake

had no idea there was a gottlieb version.

I restored in exhibit rotary merchandiser and have an extra machine that I used for parts. I’m pretty sure the damper that you’re looking for is still in my parts machine. They look like the exact same part despite the game manufacturer difference. I work out of town for the next few days, when I get back, I will dig that machine out of the warehouse and see if the parts are still there.
