Shay makes this title, and he uses the same brand of ink and the same silk screening techniques that were used on the original glasses.

Hmm... I see it on his website, but I believe that Ron Webb actually did the reproduction. Shay has accumulated some reproduction backglasses, and is selling them, but I believe some of them are not his own products.

Ron Webb's work is top notch as well.

Ron Webb uses the same printer as Shay, so same printing techniques and ink.
Quoted from BleacherBum:I need one “metal faceted post” for a 60’s Gottlieb pin. It is one with the low cap (see picture, C8173). Does anyone have one they would be willing to sell?
Thanks,
Phil

It looks like you're replacing that yellow plastic post, right?
As a cost cutting measure, Gottlieb often used a plastic post in hidden spots on games with metal posts. So, if you're concerned that it's not original, it is.
Quoted from bluespin:Ron Webb uses the same printer as Shay, so same printing techniques and ink.
I have a little inside baseball about that particular repro; direct from Ron himself. I won't disclose it here, but PM me if you'd like to hear it.
Anyone need a roulette wheel for a Williams A-Go-Go?
I bought it in a last ditch attempt to fix a Williams Millionaire that was missing the wheel but then found the correct wheel.

I'm looking for a Bally 3" Score Reel to finish up my restoration of a Wizard!
It's my first time working on an EM, so I'm not exactly sure where to look for one of these.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Quoted from fixintoplay:Thought I'd try this thread to see if anyone knows a source for a set of cabinet stencils for a Gottlieb Road Race/Stock Car. Jeff at Pinball Pimp doesn't list them on his website. Thanks.

is there any original art on your game? buy a scanner and scan a side 12 times etc, send the images to pimp and he'll make you stencils for a fee
Yes, pretty much all the original art is on the cabinet, albeit scuffed and scraped. The outlines are clear enough, and the 2-color (black and yellow) design itself is really quite simple. But using a scanner to "scan a side 12 times" raises more questions than answers, at least for me. I'm trying to visualize how that's done.

Turn cab on its side, clamp a straight egde to the length of the cab. I like to use loose side rails for this purpose. This gives you a guide to scan, move 7 inches, scan again, move 7 inches... etc then move straight edge so you can scan the other half...
Side of the head is easier, use a carpenters square to keep scanner square etc

Just an FYI, he charges for this, plus then charges you full price for the stencil set when done. Costs about the same for him to prepare your scans for the stencil, so figure double the cost of a normal stencil set for your first set.

Is there some reason you linked to this particular scanner? Does it have a flat top or something?

Probably a longshot but I’m looking for a Bally ball gate and wire for my Wizard!
Lots of other ball gates available on Marco website but all too small in length. I can measure again when I get home from work but it’s opening is close to 3”, maybe 2.75” and over 3” from screw to screw. Thanks.

Thanks for the part number. I think it’s also the same gate as on my Aladdins Castle shooter lane/spinner ramp. pinhead52 Ken said he may have one.

Sometime the coin return chute has a flap that hangs blanking plate brackets, it covers most of the coin return semi circle hole in the front but over the years only two gottliebs out two dozen had the flap. The part isn't listed in the gottlieb in the 1966 or '68 catalogues.

Thanks. I’m trying to find a picture of a door that has all the parts on it.
