Quoted from smohr:

trying to repair some burned out circuit tracing on this 00-90 Unit board for a 1977 Stern Stampede.

There's a picture in the manual that would be a good starting point for a mask if someone wanted to remake the board.

I do have the manual, I see what your talking about, Im now watching videos on how to do that. Fingers are crossed someone has a parts machine.

I had an old timer teach me how to etch a board. Its been 10 years since I've done it, but it wasn't that difficult. If you had a drawing of the board, I think they have paper now you could print on for your mask.

ISO a high resolution scan of a Surf Champ backglass (both sides). Can be in pieces as long as the scans aren't resized before sending.

The only thing left of my current backglass are tiny pieces still sitting in the cab...

I know he can do it. I also hear there will be a screen printed one by the end of the year. While waiting for the screened one I'd like to try going a different route.

I have spared up light boards for Team Ones should anybody need one or 5. Also have backglasses, pf's and plastics...

Quoted from TheCnyPinGuy:

Looking for a 1-1/8 Ball for a Williams Jolly Joker Woodrail
From IPDB
Ball composition:
Catalin, 1 1/8 inch diameter
But my game has 4 plastic balls so not super picky just want to play all 5 on the game

So… the Jolly Joker required 1 1/8 balls per IPDB

I ordered 1 1/8 ball from Amazon and I get this

Where did I go wrong or was I sent the wrong size ?

Take a micrometer to each one and confirm what you have.

Our fix worked for awhile but started to wear. We are able to source a unit/board so we should be in good shape now. We will still try to remake the board for a fun test.

Thanks

There's stuff in a spray can also. Apply it in layers while the coats are

I'm looking for a pair of pop bumper assemblies from below the playfield (in red):
Pop Bumper parts needed (resized).jpgPop Bumper parts needed (resized).jpg
Just the coil, brackets, plunger, spring and yokes. Gottlieb is preferred but 24 volt Williams might work too. I know all this stuff is likely available new but the game probably isn't worthy of new parts.

I'm converting what was someone's parts game back to working order. It's not a restoration, just a repair. It has no backglass or legs and the playfield is trashed. But I've got it working and want to sell it cheap to someone who's new to the hobby and wants to learn, or maybe someone who wants to retheme, etc. It'll never be a a trophy but it's too good to part out.

/Mark

Curious to see if anyone has any spare bakelite flipper links (or in good shape flipper links without being worn) for a Gottlieb Grand Slam (1953). I've been trying to rebuild the flipper assemblies on it, but it has been a bit of a pain trying to get the right drill holes in the bakelite piece along with using the right kind of screw as an EOS actuator.

The OEM parts are metal.
1) A-1978 Flipper Link 2-1/4" hole center to hole center.
2) A-858 Flipper lever arm.
3) A-647 Stud Insulator 3/4"
4) A-272 Arm Plunger
5) Misc. Roll Pin / Brass washers / large washer.
6) A-1081 Large hairpin fastener.

I’m going through my parts trying to trim them down a bit. I have a box of (30) 1970’s Williams relays of various types. Shoot me an offer. I also have some Williams score reels and a whole decagon Gottlieb score reel unit.

For Grand Slam (1953) I believe these parts aren't compatible since they were made for gottliebs from the mid 60's but not before.

Looking for a complete knocker assembly for Gottlieb EM.

#8991 1 year ago

I have a picture of the linkage part on the right of the image that I need for my Grand Slam (1953). Basically I'm looking for 2 spare parts that aren't worn, or if someone even has already made bakelite versions of this part that's fine too.

It's the last missing piece I need to rebuild the flippers, and I've been procrastinating on it because of how annoying it is to make the part.

These are the part numbers from the 1953 parts catalog that Steve Young
reprinted back in 1982.
Gottlieb Parts Catalog Volume D.
1) A-1978 Flipper Link 2-1/4" hole center to hole center.
2) A-858 Flipper lever arm.
3) A-647 Stud Insulator 3/4"
4) A-272 Arm Plunger
5) Misc. Roll Pin / Brass washers / large washer.
6) A-1081 Large hairpin fastener.
Question: What is wrong with the linkage [part #A-1978]?
--------- has the roll pin flared the metal out?

I did contact PBResource before and they said they did not have the linkage I'm looking for, and I'd have to make it out of bakelite.

And yes, what has happened is over time it has made the holes on the left and right sides more oblong/flared and so the movement is loose/sloppy on the flipper action.

Got a friend looking for a complete cash box for his Volley. If any one has one they want to part with, let me know. Doesn't have to be nice and shinny, just shouldn't look like it was unearthed from the local dinosaur diggings.

I have 5 cash boxes, but don’t know what’s what- some came from a few pins I no longer have and one came from my Buccaneer, that one should work?
Let me know what it looks like- or dimensions.
