ISO 27" Gottlieb late EM legs. Any condition. PBR is out of stock.

Hen’s teeth. I’m looking too.

Gottlieb short legs for late EM's were everywhere...
People would throw them away. Because of the "stock pile"
the legs would create from people scraping SS games.
I would have never thought these kind of legs would finally be in demand.

Any leg is worth keeping these days as long as it is structurally competent.

#8905 1 year ago
Quoted from vec-tor:

You might have to have it made.
Did Steve Young's Pinball Resource have something to replace the coil.

Thanks!

I'm looking for a "Bell Mounting Bracket" for a Bally Sea Ray that is used to hang the 3" Bell from the stepper unit. PN: P-6253-1 I've searched around and can't seem to find any out there. If anyone has one or could recommend a replacement I would greatly appreciate it!

I thought I might have some 27" legs, but it turned out I have eight 31" legs, a pair of beat up 28.5" legs, and one odd 27" leg that someone painted hammertone black. Hmmm. You are welcome to the single 27" leg if you need it.

Each pinball show i go to has fewer and fewer 31" and 27" legs. Do not discard these..even if rusted. Most can be cleaned up in evaporust of if eeally bad, painted silver. Soon a clean set of legs will be $100..or more.

Im paying $100 to get a set of 4 rechromed...

I'm looking for an Zaccaria Bonus unit for an Universe pin. "A 6109" is the number imprinted on it. I believe that a Williams works also.

Thanks, Lee. I have a good lead on a set but I will let you know if it is needed. Much appreciated!

Hey gang, I need a couple of gottlieb small door (early 70's) pieces for my Wizard builds. I need the coin director U channel and the the back cover plate...

And if anybody is in need of a coin door, I have rechromed doors, have 3 or 4 extra, costed $60 for the replating, would sell for $100. I can send a pic.

Just listed these Gottlieb legs, found them cleaning up:

Per Steve's chart, Gottlieb never used ribbed legs.

Is that a complete definitive list of all legs? The reason I thought they were gottliebs is the bolt holes on gottliebs are drilled slightly smaller/tighter than Bally/Williams. And they’re more straight. But maybe they’re for something else, don’t know.

I can't really say for sure. I know most people refer to it, so it has become sort of the application bible for legs. You seem to have some odd ones there. The 31" non-ribbed are certainly Gottlieb.

27" and 31" is the Gottlieb length, but the ribs are more like this: https://www.pinballlife.com/williams-system-11-chrome-legs-set-of-4.html

I am looking for parts for the head of a 1972 Bally Fireball. Please let me know if anyone has a parts machine.

#8926 1 year ago

I just acquired a decent 1962 United Bonus Baseball pitch and bat. I haven't looked too closely but the underside of the playfield has been partially stripped/hacked. Finding a wired playfield would make this an easy project.

Does anybody have a coil and bracket for a Williams slingshot? I need one specifically for a Space Odyssey kickout assembly. I'm assuming they're normal like a regular one. Thanks!

Note: Bally 1960'--1970's Fireball style cabinet used 28" style legs.
------ The legs look exactly like 28½" legs but, the bottom is just ½" short.

I ran across a few NOS sets of 31" legs, ribbed like those you have, 15+ years ago. They were nice, even though they were not apparently factory Gottlieb and worked fine on a few Gottlieb games I applied them to.

Nice is nice.

I’m looking for these reddish-orange inserts, approx. 1 1/4” diameter. It’s pretty transparent, as it allows the under-playfield roto unit to be visible. I definitely need 2 but would like to replace all 4. Thanks.

I'm looking for a plastic set for a Gottlieb Big Shot / Hot Shot / Pro Pool.

Would also be interested in plastics for a Sky Jump, particularly the large one that sits just above the drop target bank.

Are you sure? It's normal for the stepper ratchet wheel to have what appears to be missing teeth.
This is done to provide a mechanical limit.
Post a photo of it.

Would a scan of my cracked one suffice?

#8942 1 year ago

Yes, I'm sure. The very edge of two teeth are rounded off, and the stepper double indexes at those two spots every time. One is at the 6000 point mark, one at the 11000.
I understand about the end of travel missing teeth, but thanks for making sure.

If you don't find a replacement this might help: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/nylon-ratchet-wheel-repair-on-bonus-unit.
I vaguely recall someone else doing something similar after putting a short steel pin in the old tooth before building up the new tooth around it.

A bit of a long shot but does anyone (ideally in the uk) have a 6 stack switch actuator for a Bally tilt relay? I just the plastic part (c 812-6). It from a Nip It tilt relay.

#8946 1 year ago

THANK YOU! I'll try that today! I've got nothing to lose but a half a tube of JB Weld! LOL

Hi Everyone,

Im (actually a friend) trying to repair some burned out circuit tracing on this 00-90 Unit board for a 1977 Stern Stampede. But I thought I would put a feeler out for a replacement if we dont have success. The part# is 468-2526. See pics for the burned out area thats trying to be repaired.

I would inquire the 3D print community or swinks for a reproduction.

OUCH!
Maybe a cnc pcb cutter could reproduce the contact plate.

#8950 1 year ago

Long before 3D printing I had the 1977 EM "Pinball" by Stern. It had a smoked stepper PCB like that and I had no luck finding a replacement. Had high hopes but ended up selling it off as a project. No idea if the new owner got it going.
