Quoted from Peruman:

Thanks Dave!
I wonder if it’s a hack where a piece broke and the operator fixed it with what they had in hand.
I’ve attached photos of the whole stepper. It sits below the playfield and I believe it is used to count the Bonus on this Far Out.
I’m thinking it’s either A-4584 or A-17191.
Alberto[quoted image][quoted image]

Based on what you have and the picture on IPDB, I think it is the A17191.

Ok gang, need help. My platers lost a button on me... I though it was Williams, no its a Bally flipper button, mushroom style (ie hollow).

And one got 1 or 2 of these in a parts bin? smaller than the early 70s Gottlieb.

Someone has modeled one from a skykings if it might be compatible with some work:

I've been pretty impressed with the final texture people can achieve after a acetone treatment (ABS), or the resin printing.

I recently bought a big lot of a lot of EM pinball parts, got like 5 bottom boards, playfields of Flying Carpet, Gulfstream and Toledo, and Toledo’s backbox board. Won’t respond to “hey do you have this specific part” but I also have like 8 lockdown bars and over 40 legs if anyone wants those. Just throwing this out there

I'm looking for a bell striker arm,(probably not the correct term), for a 1964 Williams Stop N Go. The hole in mine is so enlarged I can almost remove the small round piece that actually strikes the bell, from the arm. Let me know what you've got and what you want for it. Shipping would be to 95354.

Here's mine:

Until you find one, try a hairpin clip on either side of the striker piece.

I thought I saw a thread where someone made a clapper arm to replace their missing one. It was either this thread or a DIY tool thread.

They said it was pretty easy to make

Looking for a lock mechanism (lock and key) for my Spanish Eyes backbox metal door, but I am not sure as to the right type/size of lock to get for this setup. I have a small inventory of locks and none of them work with the door and hinge for my Spanish Eyes (see pics of the metal door and backbox hinge) so I was wondering what the right type/size/dimensions to order for this lock as I would like to buy one. Also, if anyone has one they would like to sell is the right lock and key, I would be interested.

Can someone please tell me what/type/size I should order to work with this metal door, hinge combo for the Spanish Eyes? Thanks, in advance, for any help.

Iluvak - I guess I am missing something. It seems to me that a regular lock with a tab would work. Bend the tab to get the consistent pressure needed to keep the back from rattling.

The lock would work counter clock-wise [ right to center ] Going by the slant of the backbox angle bracket.

#8893 1 year ago
Quoted from Billc479:

Iluvak - I guess I am missing something. It seems to me that a regular lock with a tab would work. Bend the tab to get the consistent pressure needed to keep the back from rattling.

The locks I have on hand all seem to be too short. When I turn the lock key, the bar on the lock ends up making contact with the hinge in the backbox and preventing me from being able to turn the lock so the bar goes behind the backbox hinge. Seems like none of the locks I have are long enough to allow the lock bar to go past the part of the backbox hinge that hangs down (the part at the edge of the backbox). I also see locks with different lengths/dimensions available for sale when I look at pinball parts websites, so I was trying to find out what specific length/type of lock I needed to order to make sure it was one that was long enough to have the lock bar go behind the backbox hinge. Sorry, if I was not making this clear in my earlier message. Hope this clarifies things better.

#8894 1 year ago

As I think about this, maybe the locks I have are fine and the issue is with the placement of the backbox hinge in the backbox. Perhaps, I just need to unscrew the hinge and move it closer to the edge of the backbox and/or bend the hinge toward the edge of the backbox so that the lock bar can get behind it? All of my locks in inventory are for solid state games from the 80's onward, so I thought maybe a different length of lock was needed for EMs.
