Quoted from JaxGator:Also looking for an entire backbox for a Little Chief machine
There was one in the backbox lot that was recently sold near Chicago.
Quoted from AlexF:There was one in the backbox lot that was recently sold near Chicago.
I did a search for backbox lot on the forums and didnt come up with anything. Do you know what section it was listed in?
It was a craigslist posting that got linked in this thread.

Listing was long gone, so I'm guessing so are the backboxes. Still looking for these items:
Little Chief backbox & backglass
Williams 4 Aces plastics set
Quoted from pinhead52:Anybody want some nice off white NOS posts? boilerman approved!

if you are restoring a game, these make a big difference. PBR sells repro post but they have a funky blue tint. really stand out, i don't use them. the ones ken has blend right in like they should.

When that happens I post a wanted ad in the same city. A lot of people search regularly on the word "pinball". It worked for me once.

I have bought targets off fred in the past good guy to deal with and makes good targets.

Looking for a chime unit bracket for a 1976 Williams Little Chief. I’ve searched on the web and it does not look like this part is available.
I tried using JB Weld but it wont hold to the pounding of the chime striker.
Is there another way to fix this?
Quoted from ZNET:I have 2 original seventies vintage Midway arcade coin door decals available. Message me, if interested.
These are originals, new old stock, with an embossed area, as depicted..[quoted image]
These original stickers each measure 6 by 2 inches, which fit the standard Midway vintage 1970s coin door.

I also approve. I purchased some for my Royal guard project & they are way better than the PBR posts.

I had a guy cut new tabs and weld them on to the main bracket.
Quoted from vec-tor:I had a guy cut new tabs and weld them on to the main bracket.
I would have ground them out and welded in threaded rod and done away with the goofy cotter pin setup.
Terrible penny pinching by Williams.

Clay’s website shows a repair by pop-riveting on another chime post, which wouldn’t involve welding:
Anyone know of a source for the two circled plastics? The one almost looks like a flipper bat (one above pop bumper) but it's just a plastic lane guide with a rubber. The other one is a plastic post in the shape of a triangle. Looked on PBR site to no avail!
I know this gets asked, but I'm going to ask as well.
Does anyone have a spare GTB wedgehead back door (later style that goes with a metal track)?
How about a mid 1970's wedgehead cabinet?
Thanks

Drive up to pbr and pick one up at their counter service $42

Thanks,
I saw that Steve has them in stock again, was hoping for an original.
I just picked up two new (well, new to me) Wedgeheads that need to be shopped, so I'm getting together an order for PBR. I'll probably get a door from him if no others pop up.

Could be your lucky day if you haven't found them yet.
Looks like I can help you on this one if the red plastics are 3" long.
How many do you need?

If Allentown is on that might be a good place to find them
Quoted from pinhead52:If Allentown is on that might be a good place to find them
Sadly, It isn't. Ironically, instead of going to Allentown, where I was hoping to find a game, I ended up buying two wedgeheads here on Pinside.
The drive to get them was almost the same distance as it is for me to get to Allentown. However, Allentown is dearly missed.

Red art or red bats with white art?

I've never seen these before with red art.
If Gottlieb produced these, even for one year, I'm surprised PBR does not have these listed on their website.
Even so, it wouldn't take much to make a pair. I regularly touch up the blue ones with a blue Testors paint pen. To paint over an existing pair with a red Testors paint pen would take about 2 minutes.

I spoke with Steve today, He's only ever made blue ones. He also "corrected" me in stating that they aren't really red but more of a light purple.
Quoted from DropTarget:Ha! They are red!
after a closer look the right one was touched up
want them?
Quoted from boilerman:after a closer look the right one was touched up

after a closer look, I'm not certain that Steve wasn't correct. Here's a pic I found on ipdb, it matches the color on my game. Maybe the red faded, or maybe it should be purplish.
I'll take the red ones if they are correct for the game (even if they aren't). But, having said that, I'd rather not take them from your inventory if either you or someone else needs red bats, assuming that they should be purplish on Dimension.
Does anyone know what the original flipper bat color should be on a Dimension?
Either way, Boilerman has stepped up again. He's a real asset to the community and a great guy to boot. - TY

at one point they were a light purple but at some point they went to a blue. i do know purple was before the blue. here is a pic of two originals that show the difference. i had a 2001 with purple and red i had a 4 square with both and a DaC with red.. i think some games that year could of had either. that is from what i have seen.
I would say if all else fails... see if you could get blank white flippers and
get the paint color you want and just do a "dip" in the color.
Quoted from boilerman:at one point they were a light purple but at some point they went to a blue.
Thanks, very informative.

I could do that in a pinch, but would rather have originals.
thx

I always assumed that was the blue they used at the time and it faded to that purplish hue.
A friend who isn’t on Pinside is looking for a zipper flipper coil seen in this picture. Or he can use this:
“there was a later replacement coil... Guardian 50 volt coil is usually E-184-277 and/or A420-064506--00”
He said that Steve doesn’t sell them or make them.

I had a hell of a time trying to find the coil assembly for Bally Nip-It.
It turned out to be a industrial door lock.
It is possible the coil you are looking for could be in the same family.

Can you get measurements on that?
That looks a LOT like the Selection Relay coil used in ROWE AMI MM series model jukeboxes. I literally just threw one away Monday. I may have another.
Looking for an unpopulated GTB Close Encounters Of The Third Kind EM playfield, hopefully unpopulated. The one I have is pretty toasted. May consider populated PF.
thx
