I am putting my target pool back together. Everything looks good except the metal back of the head. It looks like there ought to be some kind of channel or lip that it sits into at the bottom of the head to keep the bottom of the back from sliding out. I was thinking I could make something out of some kind of channel but if its a standard part I could probably just get one. Anyone know what it is and if its available?

It uses a "metal channel strip". Pinball Resource sells them. Measure from side to side on the inside for length.

Part# GTB-D8563-1 (this is the standard size, if you need a custom size they can make that as well)

$7.40 ea

Anyone want to trade schematics?

Need - Gottlieb Merry-Go-Round schematics

Offering Bally Bow and Arrow (Complete original documentation). Manual full size schematics, envelope.
Offering Gottlieb Street Fighter 2 manual

#6005 4 years ago

A Gottlieb Grand Slam being parted out on Ebay.

#6006 4 years ago

I know I can buy one from Steve or Marcos, but wondering if for any reason someone might have a cheap schematic and/or manual for a Gottlieb Jacks Open.

#6007 4 years ago

Hi. I just found this group. Cool group! I am looking for a Williams Ringer horse shoe unit or at least the ground wipers for the unit. Thanks

ok gang throwing out a challenge...

The red arrow is pointing at the piece I need. It goes between the cast coin head on top of the game where the coin is inserted and the coin acceptor.

Bally Skill Roll uses the same part.

Could that be 3D printed?

#6010 4 years ago

I could print it if someone can provide me STL files for it.

Thanks, yeah I also see that Marcos and Ebay have them too. I'll be picking up a set for this Jacks Open I got yesterday. BTW, will be selling it, along with the Top Card I just finished, the Spin Out I'm nearly done with, and a Big Hit -- all later this spring (Top Card and Spin Out essentially already for sale).

I have a Bank A Ball playfield and motor board if anyone is looking. Listed in classified section.

Hey I need... a retaining bracket from a late 70s gottlieb coin door. There is a 3 inch long piece that mounts from the coin mech frame to the end of the coin chute to hold the coin chute in alignment with the mech. Anybody that has a junk late 70s gottlieb square door probably has this.

(Ever see stainless polished to a mirror finish?)

thx
ken

I believe it is his Gottlieb Wizard.

Side-by-side comparison is pretty compelling.

This is fun, what’s the other game on the far right?

Quoted from Electrocute:

That would be his Card Whiz.

#6030 4 years ago

Far far right

#6031 4 years ago

My guess is Team One.

#6032 4 years ago

ARRRGHHHH Broke my (brand new replacement) 5 ball in the backglass on Bank-a-Ball. Anyone have a spare? Damn those repops are expensive.

#6033 4 years ago
Quoted from MikeO:

My guess is Team One.

My guess is “Surfer”.

#6034 4 years ago

How in the hell can you guys guess that one?
I don't have a clue, but since it looks a little bluish, I'll
say Surfer over Team One..
Maybe I'll polish up a door and start another one.

it's in his pinside collection list !

How much are the re-pops?
No promises, but I might have something around.
I'll take a look tomorrow..

I was thinking green, but it just dawned on me. Team One has blue. I have both
machines, but it's been years since the Team One's been set up. I guess that makes
it a toss up..

I think they're like $30 apiece

I forget but more than I wanted to pay twice for the same ball. Hope I don't screw up the other 3 I'm installing.

Hey guys and gals, I’m looking for a set of Fast/Quick Draw plastics that are in “usable” condition-don’t have to be anything special. I’m just looking for parts to add some flair to my dartboard cabinet. Thanks.

Is that a true wow machine with 5 Wows in the backglass with the extra stepper in the back box?
What year is Wizard, 1971?

Quoted from Mopar:

Wizard appears to have been an Italian prototype game that was never produced. Luckily they did the prototypes.

Yes, the 5 Wows in the head/backglass.

Yes, 1971.
