Quoted from GSones:

I'm working on a Gottlieb King of Diamonds and my Lockdown Moulding Slide (the part that the lockdown bar latches to) is pretty trashed. Even after scrubbing and Evaporust this is the best it gets. Looking for a used replacement. Doesn't have to be perfect, just better than this sad guy. Thanks.[quoted image][quoted image]

Personally I would just use that as is. Your never gonna see it during normal usage. If it still works, consider it a war scar from the years of use and proudly put that part back on the machine, always knowing that underneath that nice new finish is a piece of history worn down by the thousands of plays, drinks spilled, smoke, humidity, moisture etc.!!!

just a bump to see if anybody maybe able to help. finally about to get to this game to restore.[quoted image]

I don't know how much of the schematic would be common with Twin Hockey but there's an All Start Hockey schematic on my website at:
https://www.funwithpinball.com/resources/all-star-hockey

Is that an All Star Hockey in your photo just behind the Twin Hockey?

Man, maybe im doing it wrong but how can you reuse these stencils.? I know once I pull mine off they are toast.

Some of us make stencils which are re-usable-pic is for GTB Crosstown. I assume that is what is referenced.

the reference was for pimp stencils. but I can see how the ones you pictured are reusable..

Does anyone have the left slingshot and center plastics for a Gottlieb 2001? Thanks

Edit: Now I’m just looking for the center plastic. Thanks CardTrix70

I am looking for contact lifters for a late 50's Bally Bowler (see pic). I'd also take entire switch stacks with blades that have them. The lifters themselves are 3/8" long.

Thanks

PBR has lifters, incompatible?

Quoted from John_In_WI:

Yes, those are different than the 1957 Bally bowlers, and probably have some someplace, but I'm
pretty sure they're the same as United's which I have all over the place. If you can give the length
of the longer blades to verify, I'll take a stack apart and send some to you. Also, you'd like some
of the smaller blades too?

#5864 4 years ago
Quoted from pinhead52:

The PBR pieces are slightly (1/32") shorter, which is not a big deal. The issue with them is that the small pin that goes through the switch blade and attaches the lifter to the blade is much smaller in diameter (I'd say half). If all else fails I'll use them but would need to either glue them on or drill a smaller hole in the switch blade.

The longer blade is a bit more than 2-1/2" long. I had a couple of extra blades with lifters laying around but the lifters are on the wrong side of the blade, at least for one I need to repair now. The existing lifters appear to be pressed on so they're not really suited for moving from one blade to another.

Would have been great if the PBR lifters would have worked because it would have saved me from having to take the switch stacks apart.

I have a score motor contact set from a Bally Night Rider that may be suitable

Yea, separating the switch stake spacers can be a little pain, but not too bad. I've had to do it plenty
of times. If not today, I'll check tomorrow on the United switches. Pretty sure they'll work.
I've never tried it, but I imagine you could use a #2 nylon bolt as a lifter. Might have to snip off
an 1'8" and maybe lock tite a nut on the end so it covers more surface on the above switch that it
makes contact with, but either way, I'll check for spare switches..

Possibly. The score motor on the bowler uses much shorter contact lifters than the relay banks do. The ones I need are 3/8" long.

Thanks

Looking for the inside parts for coin door on Williams Liberty Bell (1977). The out side of door is okay, but someone stripped out everything from the inside. Complete door would be fine. I think a couple years used same door.

It took a little while, but I found a contact that should work. I know I have others, but that
certain type with the nylon lifter going the opposite direction than most, the ones that I have
aren't so easy to get to, but this should work. The solder tap is off to the side, but should be
able to be bent up enough if needed..
If you're all set, that would be great, but if you still could use it, I'll send it your way.. (T)

Looking for a scan or good closeup picture of the spinning target for Williams Space Mission/Space Odyssey/Liberty Bell. The bottom of my rocket ship rubbed off to bare metal, so am looking to repaint or make a decal.

Has anyone ever tried making a tiny silk screen to repaint these things? I've used larger kits from hobby stores for printing t-shirts, I'm guessing somewhere they sell small ones too.

Water slide decals. Check vids guide to playfield restoration.

Aye, that was going to be my default solution. It's such a simple image in this case, I was just wondering if anyone ever went the silkscreen route (since the kits make it pretty easy to create screens from printed images).

I might even be able to touch it up by hand with masking, depending on how simple the art is (I believe it's just four straight lines continuing down from the body).

I believe there is an alternative route other than water slides like you mentioned listed somewhere in the guide. I remember researching it because I almost made one myself. Let me see if I can find it...

Thanks for the closeups, those should work great to start working on a decal.

Anyone know if the four blue lines at the bottom just go straight down and stop? Naturally every photo I've found has the same wear

#5883 4 years ago

I would think it is white at the bottom in the same way the red side has a white bottom.

Looking for a small step switch w/bell - 10,000 unit - for a 1951 GTB Niagara. Mine looks to be missing the bell, clapper (stepper arm bracket broken off), and possibly some switch parts. I haven't seen a pic of it yet as my oldest GTB factory catalog is Volume D, and the one in there is different. If anyone has a pic of it please post or send it to me.

First time posting on this thread, love how the pinsider community maintains such a great parts ecosystem. Sprucing up a 1963 Williams Major League and wondering if anyone might have a 10-cent coin slot like the 25-center on the right. (The hand stamped one on the left is actually a 10-cent slot turned backwards but the original face was mangled when they made the hand stamp.) Also does anyone know what color the recessed areas might have been originally painted on these? Thanks in advance.

Let me check to see if I have one in the correct denomination. They came in different styles. I know I have at least two different kinds. The ones I have on my Williams Beat the Clock which is the same year as your machine are completely different than yours. It has more narrow writing and the numbers are recessed and red.

Anyone happen to have the two lower slingshot plastics for a Gottlieb Top Card?

Also, I posted separately but just a reminder I have a Gottlieb Drop a Card that’s pretty rough I’m looking to sell as a parts game if anyone’s interested.

Can anyone ID this lockdown bar? Came with a Bally Viking project I have but I know it's not correct for that game.

Thanks!
