Quoted from homegameroom:

Thank you- that is my machines little brother and it will work if I can’t find the proper one, but the Super has a unique match feature that lights up additional numbers as well as the Bally logo. I don’t think the All Star or All Star Deluxe have that.

I would email contact bgresto.com and send Steve a picture of your backglass and see if he can make a new one, is so, ship yours to him and you'll have a new one in 3-4 months.

And there is an alternate/better "one of" product, 1 month turn around but 20-30% more expensive

Does anyone know of a source for Williams EM Flipper Buttons - part #3A-7208 in red? I can't seem to find them anywhere and I could really use a set.

This is a link to the Marco page, just for reference.

Hey, funny coincidence! I think this is the one I need as well! Really, I need the entire assembly, washer, spring and button.
The flipper buttons on my Mars Trek were rusted beyond all salvage. I could use the interior cabinet bracket as well if anyone has one! I want it fully working for the show in Saratoga Pinball Show in August!

Looking for the screw thread size and length in the match unit for Bally EM Night Rider. The screw secures the right side circuit board.

Looking for a “bottom channel” for a 1972 Williams Back box. This is the U shaped metal channel the door of the back box sits in. I will consider paying to have it fabricated and trim to size as I dont know that these were reproduced. Anyone have one??

Lookee what I received from @pinhead52! Contraband!

DSCF4376 (resized).JPGDSCF4376 (resized).JPG

5,600 miles as the crow flies from France to Tucson. That little red target face is well-traveled!

Amazing, simply amazing. And I'm not just talking about the distances involved. BallyCrazy and pinhead52 are pretty amazing too! I even got the rivets and screws!

I also received an 'over the top buzzer' and a ka-nocker from Texas. It's going to need some serious sanding and Mother's Mag Aluminum polish on that plunger, but that's okay. I'm used to that!

Thanks so much, guys!

I was not sure where else to post this. I am giving away for free some 1964 Williams Soccer score cards. These were in a different machine that I recently bought. I have no use for them and wanted to pass them on. Please send me a message and I will send them for free in the lower 48 United States.

Hi have a Stern “pinball” em that is technically a Chicago coin. There is a stepper unit see (pictures) that the board that the swipes run along is completely burned up. I guess I could try to repair with conductive epoxy but hoping someone has one of those hiding in their parts bin. Also need a schematic having trouble locating that as well. Thanks for your help looking forward to getting this machine up and running once again.
Regards
Al

Strange rust caused by a condensing overhead pipe dripping on the outside of the game, that would seep into the inside by wicking along the button shaft. I assume the strange “Titanic-esque” bubbling would be caused by the acidic nature of condensate off heating pipes. But that’s just an educated guess!

I'm looking for a shooter assembly for a 1934 Gottlieb Merry-Go-Round.
like this one: https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=3104&picno=49046&zoom=1
(not the ball lift, just the plunger parts)

Other shooter assemblies from 1930s machines would probably also work.

thanks!

THANKS @Murphdom! I called Gary (the email address didn't work, for some reason), and if I can't find an original glass, I'll go his route. He sells a printed film that sandwiches between two sheets of glass.

He sent me dimensions and I printed him some replacements. SilverBallKid - Isochronic_Frost should have these later in the week to test the fit. If you are still looking and don't mind them being non originals I can print you a set.

If anyone is looking in the future the files are here. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3778983
Or you can cut down a standard modern button to 30mm in overall length and drill a small hole 4mm up the shaft for a retaining cotter pin and you will end up with a button that matches the dimensions of these.

Looking for the nylon wheel for my Bonus Unit. It is for a Bally Freedom. I suppose there are other games that use the same wheel. Anyone have something that will work? Anyone ever tried to restore the broken tooth with JB weld or similar product?

I have a similar spare wheel off of a nightrider bonus unit although my notch out is about 180 degrees from the post, yours about 90 degrees from the post. You might have to get creative with a dremel and make a more appropriate notch location

If it only goes so far one way and then back to the other could you just re-clock it?

#5349 4 years ago
Quoted from PoBoyPinball:

In this case don't think that will work. I'd have to rotate it 180 degrees to keep the electric contacts/spider in the same position relative to the stationary contacts. That puts the notch in the same place as the missing tooth.

Might have to "sandwich" thin metal strips to the wheel in order to make a "Tooth" for
the step-up/step-down ratchet arms.
