Hope I don't get grilled too much for this and to be honest I should just be quiet because I don't own any new in box games and I'm willing to bet money I never will own a new in box game unless the money tree sprouts in my backyard.

But, I was reading this stuff and at first, I had to be honest... I agreed. How can Stern release a game "not finished" and leave people hanging.

But, then I get thinking. What would happen if they "finished" the code before they released every game? What would happen if they spend a little extra time, put a few more things in THEN released a game?

Everyone would be happy! Until someone found a bug, or a weak spot in the code and then they weren't happy. Only problem is in the current system... if enough people point out an error or short fall in the code it might get fixed one day in an update.

If the system were to switch to "finish" the games before we ship, there would be no new code. And any bugs or shortfalls would be stuff you need to live with cause the game is "done."

This might be one of those "Careful what you wish for things."

    Just my two bits.
