Quoted from 0geist0:The ones that line up with the tops of the towers
Yeah, tops of towers, NOT the Bullet holes. Funny thing is, the blinking is very subtle with the translite back in place.

Quoted from shaub:I thought it was a common problem, but on my Dirty Harry, when the ball leaves the shooter lane it has a tendency to rattle around in the right orbit. I think it occasionally hits the magnet opto bracket. I was just wondering if there is an easy solution to make sure the ball launches around into the pops consistently.
Inherent design flaw in the game. The ramp exit is too close to the opto bracket for the magnet. If you use a less powerful shooter coil, the ball doesn't make it to the magnet on "ramp shot"
Also- when the ball hits the opto bracket, it "nose-dives into the PF around the magnet core, thus destroying the playfield even if there's mylar. Every single dirty harry has damage here, and most have destroyed wood in the thinned area immediately adjacent to the magnet core under the PF.
Quoted from mizzoufan:get to crime wave the gun starts triggering constantly until it blows the fuse that controls all the solenoids (warehouse, plunger, gun, HQ).
Isn't the gun SUPPOSED to be running constantly during crime wave? It will also auto-shoot each ball that drops in there until crime wave ends. Sounds like maybe the motor that rotates the gun is drawing too much, and that load coupled with the fact that the pops, slings and flippers are all just a little much. that's fuse F116, right? Maybe clean the gearbox that runs the gun, or replace the gun motor itself? just a few ideas-
Quoted from t2:Does anyone sell the ramps?
Marco has the main ramp listed, but since I've owned my DH (2 years) I've never seen it listed as "in stock"

I think you may be able to find some used ones overseas
Quoted from Rascal_H:Anyone else get a lot of rejected balls off the right ramp? I wonder if I just need a new ramp. Not going up as smoothly as I'd like when I have good fast shot at it. Maybe it's hopping when it hits he ramp and knocked down by the roof. Happens so fast it's hard to tell.
I did before I re-built the flippers and added superbands. But like previous poster said- the shots are tight! Once you get the upper Right flipper shot to the LEFT ramp down, it's very rewarding. feed from the magnet is key...
Superbands + re-built flippers = a shot up the right ramp that's lightening fast
Quoted from Billy16:A note--if you have not added a powered sub yet, get one immediately! One of the best pins for deep and punchy bass I have ever hooked a sub up to!
when regular multiball starts... oh man the bass is bad-ass!!! (and the lightening)
Quoted from sohchx:Is it just me? Or is almost every shot in this game difficult? Especially the helicopter ramp!! Every time I shoot for it the ball gets mid way up and just rolls back down. Very frustrating. Maybe my pitch in the rear is set to high or I need more powerful flipper coils.
It's not you. It's a tough shot. Has to be hit nearly in the exact center, if the ball strikes the left or right wall of the ramp on it's way up, it'll slow it down and cause it to roll back. the left ramp is similar, but not as bad, that one can be made from the gun as well at the start of multiball for a super jackpot award.
Tough game!! Once you master it, it'll make other games ramp shots seem really easy!!
EDIT: P.S.- ALL the shots in that game are tight- Left and right orbits, both ramps, safehouse and the HQ hole. The warehouse seems to be the only forgiving shot. The one thing I didn't like about the game is how tight the left and right orbits are because they are used a ton in every single mode.
Quoted from MAJRob:If by any chance someone has a set of gently used slingshots, I would happily take them off your hands for some cash. Mine are toast
When I go my DH a few years ago, there weren't any slingshot plastics be sold at the time- now they're everywhere!
Good prices:

Hey Dirty Harry owners! Even though I no longer own my DH, watching the World's best Keith Elwin 1st and 2nd balls in this PAPA circuit championship makes me realize how not so good I was at this game! He makes the Super Jackpot shot look easy. I thought I would share this video. Definately a great watch if you want to learn how to score big on DH
EDIT: The final group plays DH as their first table on this video, so it's pretty straight forward!
Quoted from PaulCoff:Thx. I’m trying to find the back area as well. Any link? Anyone bringing them to TPF?

seah20s, As law said, high-voltage needs to be actuated- Did your game come with this part by chance? this is a bracket used to depress the HV button/switch while the coin door is open.
Quoted from kidchrisso:Found my diamond in the rough at a great price, dirty as fuck with a few issues. It was in a dude's house for over 21 years. Total plays said less than 450. Not sure about that but the goodie bag was still there...check out the before and after...not a scratch on her
Looks similar to my DH I used to own- Mine was a re-import from Japan, and looked as if it was NEVER played.
Great find!!!
