When you get LED's, make sure you get non-ghosting ones for the inserts. This game does ghost. I wish I would have known that before I bought mine

There is a non-ghosting patch? I had no idea. Where can I find such a thing? Id be willing to buy a burner for that. This is the second time I could have used a burner in the last few months (just added 7 digit displays to my black hole).

New inserts dont come with any graphics on them. Depends on how much work you want to do. You could just wax it, then throw some mylar over it and call it a day. It will stop more damage from happening. You could also print out some decals if you wanted. The real fix is to pull the playfield apart and do touchups then clear coat. But its probably more than you are looking for

I got 2 arrests last night during crime wave and got super excited. I thought, OMFG, I get to get the last default score on my machine! Game ended, no score. Forgot you had to get 3 and not 2...doh! Oh well. The GF was there and saw I got 2, so I have a witness Couldn't believe it. First time I have ever even gotten 1, then I got 2!

Do you have the door open when you run the test? It wont work since the door opens disables the high voltage (unless you have the switch closed while testing). If its grabbing the ball on the plunge while choosing ramp shot, then the magnet works. No, its no the rom. My guess is that the left inlane switch is out of adjustment and not actually activating the magnet. Check the switch in test mode (with a ball, not your finger).

I would not worry about the dimpling and just play it. Oh and get a cliffy for that hole so it stays looking good
