Williams, 1995Does anyone here have a nice translite with no scratches, folds, bends or missing artwork they'd be willing to sell? Every place online is out except for over in Europe and shipping from there is a killer. That would be my last resort. Thanks!

I don't know what it is, but I have been seeing a lot of Dirty Harry for sale on various places lately. I don't know why but mine would be probably the last to go if I were to sell. I just love the game and it's difficulty. It's one of my favorites!
Anybody got any DH ramps for sale? I know it’s a long shot, but bought I’d ask.

Let’s switch gears a second. Anybody else missing a place under the playfield for the bulb on the jackpot insert for the right ramp? I seem to be. I’d post a pic, but again my DH is still at my brother's house. Maybe I’m overlooking it, but I’ve looked on the boards hoping there would be a socket for a bulb to extend from. I’m either blind or I’m missing a place for it.

I was missing the lamp socket. but there was a spot to solder one on the board

Just ran to a problem w/DH and not to good w/SS pins.
Turn game on and there is a awful loud BZZZZZ/HUM through speakers. From what I’ve read it could be a blown amp chip on board...anybody know or have ideas? I looked at them and look ok but don’t know how to test if that’s what’s needed. Maybe I need to send board out for repair. Thanks in advance.

I also added a drop target but still have to wait for cc to cure before it all goes back together. Will be installing cliffys. There was one spot of touch up paint grey that I don’t like but it’s under the ramp. A must to read VIDS ultimate pinball restoration. I also lived in Monterey ca which is the town over from where Clint was the mayor (Carmel). Got a chance to get his autograph in 03’ in pebble beach So I felt it was a great find for me.

That drop target hole looks original! Nicely done.
Was just checking on the opinion of others I have the ball bashing into my opto bracket over the magnet as well. I have been considering adding a deflector plate to help preserve ball , bracket and perhaps playfield wear having ball deflected into the playfield earlier then magnet in a thicker area. I also will be polishing bracket before population. Any opinions greatly appreciated. Also thank you for the compliment on the drop target hole.

Here’s one guys opinion but I’m doing it regardless I believe the harder it plays the more challenging and fun it is.

So, I got a really nice Dirty Harry a couple days ago. I bought it and transported it about 250 miles in my SUV. It worked fine except the gun didn't work properly. It was never available to use at the start of the game or any other time.Then I get a 76 and 77 switch error. I checked the switches but one seemed weak so I changed it out. Still nothing. I get up this morning and go to turn the game on and get a U22 error.Game wouldn't start. I shut it off and restarted it and it came on with no U22 and no switch errors and the gun works PERFECT. What the heck does that mean? Any suggestions.

When you choose "load gun" it goes back and forth and you can shoot it. Before you didn't have a choice to "load gun" at all.I didn't change anything but put a new 77 switch.

Which switch is the 77 switch? I'm getting an error message on that one but my gun works fine. Thanks
Also, I need a new left upper ramp if anyone has a lead on one....also left wire form that feeds the left inlane. I messaged freeform40 about making a run of DH ramps and he said he will consider it once he gets his larger setup to handle the bigger ramps. So if you are looking to get some replacement ramps, shoot him a pm so he can gauge interest for them.

77 is the gun lockup. It only activates if you use gun on skill shot or you get to crime wave and gun loads from bottom. You might be getting error just because it hasn't been hit in a while.

Just took delivery of a Dirty Harry today,
After a few plays I was thinking it’s a perfect game for pin sound with updated music . Anyone done this to there game ?

Color dmd and gi ocd boards for my flickering leds were a must. Never thought it needed a sound upgrade. I would be interested to know too.
If anybody else is missing the socket for the right ramp jackpot light, just sharing. Simply ordered the missing socket and soldered to the board with success! Lol. Simple fix, but I feel accomplished, because I’m not the best at soldering.
