not a knock on you personally, because i understand why you feel like you dodged a bullet. but i will never live in a world where i feel i can pat myself on the back for not trying to do something i wanted to do. i will never be scared that some unforeseeable event will take anything away from me. i'm living it firsthand right now. i own a pinball bar that i busted my ass my whole life to build up to and create, and it's been in a shutdown choke-hold since March. i put my life savings into it, and have no regrets. as long as i can stay alive during this, at least when this is over, I'll have an opportunity again. And I'll appreciate it more and make it better than it's ever been! if i had not opened it because of the fear it might get shuttered by a pandemic, or anything else, then when this is over i'd have nothing. That's all.
