I'm always on here during the work day. I used to live in Oz, now in Japan, and the message boards seem always very quiet.
Then I go to sleep and wake up in the morning and there's hundreds of new threads. Very odd.

Heck, it's dark all the way here on the other side of the pacific, and I'm about to head home.
Nice night for a walk.
Quoted from solarvalue:Be careful out there!
... in japan?
I'll be fine.
I left my iPhone on a train. It was returned to me.
There's not a lot of worry about crime here.
That said, I'm also a big dude. I don't really worry about walking around in the dark anyway, and have done my fair share of walking people home late at night when appropriate.
Heh. When you fly long distances it really hits home how big the earth is---and how fast planes are.
Down to 96 people online, so it's safe to come out again.
We had a long weekend here (Labor Day--don't ask why it's in November), so I'm back at work for the first time this week. Got to play some pinball on location. Played really, really badly.
What do you folks do when you've travelled to an arcade to play some pinball and just !@#$#ing suck? It feels like such a waste
Quoted from Mancave:Unfortunately Arcades have become a thing of the past (in the traditional sense) over here, not like when i was a lad. .... Seems a world away from today's youth who (only my observation) appear to have their heads DOWN and stuck in their phones eternally. I guess it's relative though, new toys for boys and gals
I found oz pretty good for arcades compared to many places--brisbane has a whole bunch of timezones and so on. Was on the north queensland coast last year and nearly every small town had a machine or two on location.
