Some crazy images from the Vic bush fires , only the last 2 have been taken by me. The 2nd pic with the 4WD in it is about 50kms from where i am. The last 2 shots are the view from home and the ash and crap that has floated in under the roof cap of the mancave. Most of Monday (30th) afternoon/evening there were burnt leaves and residue floating down in the smoke filled sky, was bloody eerie More to come this weekend with expected 40C temps on Saturday and the same hot northerly winds pushing the fires back our way. Town and surrounds are bracing for another shitfight!! The only good thing is that the town is not set in bush land, unlike Mallacoota which has copped it (something you guys overseas have possibly already seen in the news with people sheltering on the beach)
