Apologies for the duel blank posts, got some "ghosts in the midst" going on with my internet it seems. Can you delete posts as aside from editing?
Girl 1 - There was a prostitute in India called Vasumitra.
Girl 2 - Vasumitra? What a pretty name.
Girl 1 - Words say that any man who slept with her, turned into a devoted Buddhist.
Girl 2 - What the hell did she do to them?
Girl 1 - She gave an ecstatic sex as a prostitute, I guess.
Girl 2 - What does sex have to do with Buddhists?
Girl 1 - Maybe it aroused some deep maternal love. You see, men are like babies when they have sex.
Girl 2 - ???
Girl 1 - ... call me Vasumitra from now on
Girl 2 - Close your mouth.
Girl 1 - Got it? I'm Vasumitra from today on.
PRIMUS! How could I forget that?
Started dating a new chick and we went to bar trivia. Had a great time. But had I remembered Primus sang 'My Name is Mud' we would have finished tied for 2nd instead of 3rd. Ugh.
In the spin-off sitcom category, I did put together that 'Fish' was a spin-off of Barney Miller, though: a show I've never seen, but I remembered a line from 'So I Married an Axe Murderer' where Anthony Lapaglia's character lamented to his boss he wanted to be 'Serpico', but instead was ending up like Fish from Barney Miller.
And yes, I did get to first base. Or in pinball terms, "locked ball 1".
